Due to limitations we are quickly reaching, we will no longer be allowing groups to create ranks that are outside of their internal structure. This includes group ranks like "friends" and etc. You may notice that the command /groupmembers frequently crashes, this is as a result of those limits.

Now, you may be thinking: But wait!? I use those ranks to let other friendly groups use our vehicles.

Awesome. My initial response to this was... great then they can join your group formally. My next reaction decided to be a little nicer. We will release a new system for groups that lets you create and manage relationships between groups. These relationships will be more in depth than they are now. These will be "allies", "mutual", "enemy". This is independent from the declaring war status. Groups with the allies status will be able use your vehicles, if you permit them.

To clarify, does this means that all the current ranks that were made outside the structure of the groups in game are going to be deleted or we will simply not be able create more after these changes?

How I read it was that you can still change, add and delete ranks like before, but it will no longer be allowed to use ranks that are not in your rank structure.

since we got the function to remove people that isn't ingame, can we have the same feature if you want to change ranks etc?

I like it, but what if a rank like that is actually integral to a group? In Angels of Death's case, the supporter rank is pretty integral since we have more supporters than soldiers/members+ due to the way a player has to roleplay his way into the group.

Who will be the judge of what's integral or not?

All this sounds amazing! I can't wait to get from my vacation to get a taste of it. :) .
