Just so we're clear, we are supporting these as they keep the streets clean. There can be one with gated support per city on a first come first serve basis.
1. Getting into these areas, and manually respawning your vehicle (by destruction) is script abuse. You will be punished.
2. Using these as a means to deathmatch, is deathmatching, you will again be punished.
3. Glitching in / out of these areas, is guess what... script abuse and as you can guess.. you will be punished.
For Impounds:
You can not charge more than $300 to reclaim a fee.
You cannot tow vehicles which are state, or law enforcement. You can return them to the PD, but do not impound.
You cannot tow vehicles randomly, if you are working for one of these lots you need a legitimate reason. Impound companies should enforce this or we'll revoke your gate.
Enjoy.

please make sure to tell your employees not to tow vehicles from private properties, even if the vehicles are not properly parked.
-
So, driving up a ramp which is already in the San Andreas map would be considered script abuse?
Seems legit.
-
What if we threaten through roleplay and take our cars for free? We already did this once with Mikro and he let us go. :P

Always someone who makes something negative out of the smallest of things... If the area is gated off, and you bypass the gate, then common sense would deem it to be a rule break of sorts. It could be an added area, it could be part of the default game, but if it has been gated off for RP purposes, and it is bypassed to avoid said RP, then, again, it is would be classed as some form of rule break.

The ramp is clearly blocked if you bothered looking before trying to throw snide remarks. :jackson:

Illegally parked would only classify to public property. So, in theory this would be illegal for drivers today. It should be noted to all impound companies.

Try to diversify your RP is my suggestion and try to broaden your limited and sometimes forceful RP. Remember "Do this or die" RP is not accepted.

By 'threaten' I didn't mean 'do this or die'. I doubt there's anything wrong with denying to pay and using verbal threats or weapons to scare you off, we're criminals and we're supposed to act that way if we want.

then yes, just be careful with consistently doing it.

by drivers you mean monkey impounds drivers, if i understand correctly?
-
Can the cars which are towed half on the road and half on the street be towed? What if a maniac just crashes into it and someone unfairly tow the car because it was moved a bit like that?
-
a question, i towed away some badly parked vehicles and got immedatly suspected by the carowner for "vehicletheft", can he do that?
-

Any impound driver, we're not the only company.

It would depend on the circumstances, but not really in most cases.

Ensure your vehicles are parked out of the way of crazy maniacs :D

Boy, am I glad you can't tow bikes. :D

Time to play devil's advocate here, but if people put effort into breaking into it and trying..and somehow succeeding to rescue their vehicle with the result being chased by the cops or impound co. I would not consider it breaking a rule.
While it does imply that you are avoiding the whole purpose of the impound system, it would also allow for such scenarios for the crafty criminals to shine.
Obviously if glitches are abused then you'd be punished, but climbing in using a truck, airplane or whatnot: that would be fine. Unless the whole jumping out of the impound lot with your vehicle is considered abusing a script/glitch but then you are fabricating reasons to punish someone for "ruining roleplay".
That is my opinion on this though.
I do agree you are ruining it by avoiding the purpose of the impound, but it should not be made illegal by server rules to do that. You can escape from minas morgul but that doesn't get you punished, why should this?

Fence up the whole garage where unauthorized access is getting in at. Problem solved.

In and out. But yes if you just add fencing around those exploitable areas then you'd be golden. They're made for that reason after all

Sorry but this is just funny... Also put exploding barrels or mines around so people will not sneak in
-
Why not use the hangar object while we're at it. Make the entrance the only way to get in and out
-
Boy, am I glad you can't tow bikes. :D
It'll be funny if Teddy comes up with a scrip where they will able to tow bikes

cant tow bikes? fuck yea, time to reckless park it everywhere possible
-
Technically you can convert bikes to "objects" which are later attached to towtrucks, the driver could later unload them at the impound lot. sorry if i ruined your planes :<

Not blocked well enough >: )
He's just sore because I escaped with his car... ;)

Lustig will find no place to go under that bridge anymore if that happens. Would create more chaos instead of letting people use that as a roleplay scenario.

He is free to use Argonath Stunt.

Just better, give him some challange, he likes that.

Stunt has roleplay commands

Two questions: @Teddy
- Are players allowed to ram the shit out of the tow drivers in an attempt of forcing the towed vehicle to get off so they can take it?
- Are players allowed to jump over the scripted gate and manage to get their vehicles out of the impound while a tow driver has opened the gate to go inside with another towed vehicle?
If the answers to these questions are No, what should we do if the aforementioned happens?
-
1) No, report
2) If they use a glitch to do it, no, report. If they are simply larger than the small block then fine.
-
Manoni, stop trolling with towtruck and i wont do it again. Constantly having my properly parked cars towed will result in that.

For your information, the Savanna was abandoned on Bridge that connects East LS to Ganton, don't assume things.

You have been coming in ganton every 3 minutes and everytime you didn't found someone there you got one of the cars that were properly parked... Everytime you saw us behind you you just went around the cirle and left...

I've never done any of that. They werent any GSF vehicles in the impound from the moment I logged, nor has been any as I'm still IG apart from the Mambo's Quad which was already there. And I went there to see that they are properly parked and for roleplay interaction, I go around the active areas because I'm looking for roleplay while I'm doing my job, I am not trolling nobody so unless you have evidence of what you are saying you are just assuming things too.
I'm not gonna talk more about this here, this topic was not made for complaints. If you still have an issue against me you two have my skype.

Why not? They are criminals, some criminals would actually do that to a tow truck IRL. If he's being chased/attacked by them, call the cops, not the admins.
Or when you decide to go in a dangerous hood, do it together with the police, so they can protect you.
When did you saw a tow truck alone, entering dangerous gang hood, towing their cars away, and managing to stay alive while he gets out of there?

/rules
You can stop a tow truck without using guns or ramming them off the road. I'm sure you know that.

I was talking with Manoni today and I came up with a idea.
Why not the mechanic who is towing ofc a owned car can wait like 1 or 2 minutes for the vehicle's owner to show up. If no one shows up he can continue towing it to the impound but if the owner shows up he can give him a fine of 50$ or 100$ to pay to have his car released from the tow. That's more RPish then just towing the car straight to the impound like a newbie...
-
They'll pay that fine the same way they pay it to the police, by shooting a bunch of bullets and speeding up to 170km/h in few seconds. That's how paid it'll be.
