Dear citizens,

It's been a while since the LCPD made its last citizen poll to gather feedback, opinions and suggestions from the general public. As we are trying to be as efficient and citizen friendly as possible and make you feel as comfortable as we can, we consider your feedback to be one of the most powerful tools to change and improve ourselves.

We value your opinions and ideas and we would like to hear more from you and learn what we can work on to make you feel safer. We would be extremely grateful if you decided to spend a few minutes and answer a short questionnaire for us in order to make us better.

As we do not want to bother people who do not wish to be bothered, please reply below if you are interested in giving us your feedback. We will also answer your questions if you have any. The questionnaire will be sent in personal messages for maximum possible confidentiality.

With best regards,

Charles Foster Offdensen
Chief of Police
Liberty City Police Department

Hello Cheif,

i see that the LCPD is doing very well, but it will be better if they increased :-
1- members of High-Speed Response Division, as it does not have any participation.
2- Ambushes.
3- Organized patrols
4- also as the number of the LCPD staff is not big enough, i see that member's activity should be increased.

Regards,

1. More organizes patrols.
2. More RP use for Radio (more use of only Radio codes).
3. More Professionalism.
4. More Strict rules about using Weapons.
5. Constant Roleplaying while on duty.
Police are Life savers not Life takers (Keep this in mind.)

Regards,

I have only one point to make:
1.When there are no admins/moderators, Liberty City is in chaos. I mean, free cops start shooting randomly players and drive really reclessly.

Best regards,
LCPD Officer(And soon Cadet) CVP_z3im

We would really like a new LCPD HQ at a phisycal LCPD HQ, actually. Maybe a department for special training or for normal procedures would be nice. :) :3
Anyways, here are some screenshots with the location.

I've already discussed this with management not long ago and I believe results will be visible shortly. :)

5. Constant Roleplaying while on duty.

I don't support that constant Roleplaying.
Firstly, Its a light roleplay server as you know.
Secondly, they are cops and normal players , they cant just Keep RP-ing 24/7 , maybe you can say most of the time
To end with, nowadays away from cops , players mostly stick with "i dont want to RP , You cant force me " thats why most of the time you dont see RP with cops.

You are supposed to roleplay everytime you are ingame. You cannot refuse roleplay cuz "i'm in pause from rp, plz leave". If you don't want to roleplay then quit. However in the last period i've seen this being ignored, the constant ramps being placed at Outlook / Dukes are not helping at all the situation, speeders and stunters are the first problem for LCPD.
Anyway, police is trying to do their job constantly, LCPD is roleplaying more than ever but the other side simply does not want to. They prefer to challenge the desync and try their luck evading the officers on foot even if they are getting shot by 5 shotguns constantly.
I guess you guys could organize trainings for the freecops, teach them how to properly roleplay the role of an officer. Do not give up if you don't suceed, sooner or later they will listen to you. Try to keep them under control, if that is not possible i'd consider the idea to put freecops also under ARPD (Are they now?), because as far i remember for now they're being handled mostly by admins or those with proper rights in LCPD.

All of this is right ^^

Just one thing, LCPD ranked members should be leading by example thats the only thing we need ( not saying they dont, but they do like to say "you are wrong you cant shoot that dude /report DM on duty /p admen cop ban him", new entrances new building, more cars, bigger guns, not one thing of those matter.

All i ever expect from a ranked officers is normal fair RP, nothing more or less.

Nicely said Mark, and thanks a lot for your input (as well as other's, of course!). Yes, we are trying to roleplay most of the situations. Quite unfortunately, it ends with chases or shootouts most of times as the roleplay gets a bit edgy at some point. It is hard for both sides to accept defeat (e.g. being outsmarted by the criminal and vice versa), and this is where the roleplay breaks.

And yeah, we are planning (and actually doing some already) public trainings. The last one happened just today (thanks Toreto and others, link to the topic here (http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=35324.0). Freecops are currently not under ARPD command but still, we are doing our best to guide them.

Just had to correct this, 'Freecops' or any law enforcement unit falls under the 'ARPD', I guess you ment under LCPD command.
I do think, that that should be the case though. Freecops might not have to come to all training made for the LCPD, but they should still fall under the command of the LCPD.

But they still need guidance into being good cops. The problem is that new cops don't know what is wrong and think they can do whatever they want.  But,  if we shape them in time,  the moderators and admins would be saved from cop banning and banning and tempbanning those cops. Because,  really,  they are open minded and listen if you guide them right just in time.
