1. Bring back the country flags, i've been looking at my profile to edit it and i found that country flags got removed, it always have been nice to have the flag at profile
2. Availability to delete your own account in forums
Reason: You dont want to be part of argonath anymore and want to delete your account? you can't.
Or simple to people who had create 2 accounts because lost one and got the old back to delete the second account.
3. Bring back the Awards on forums, it always have been nice having a picture of a award in your profile its something unique from our community
4. Signatures, expand the 3 lines to 5 lines, if you want to write something under or above the signature you cant write much things only 1-2 lines
5. Some button for Search on forums
Example: click search -> use a key word like SAPD, Gvardia, Donuts -> it shows every board with that word
It makes more simple finding old topics that you need for something or its faster then searching every board for what you need
6. Give permissions to another player using the edit function at family and gangs boards.
I've been looking at Gvardia Topic and noticed that the last active of Eugene was September 13, in this case Cofiliano should be able to edit his post's at that topic, asking a forum moderator always for change the topic is kinda boring, whenever you need some change you will need to wait for a forum moderator.
This are just some suggestion that i think will improve things around

The search function was disabled due to some issues. No one knows when it'll be back. However there is an alternative to it.

I like the suggestions only the number 4 is not needed, 2 lines for a signature is more than enough.

I like the country flags and awards ideas, however I remember the awards were a huge pain in the ass for the people who managed them and counted them. Signatures I'm not so sure, long signatures are incredibly annoying and just take up space. As for the certain permissions in topics, I'm not even sure if that is possible, might need some confirmation on that though.
But some good ideas there anyways

There is a designated area for signatures at this moment, Containing 3 lines of space and 1 signature (with a fixed hight/width), why should it be bigger?

- Sounds like a good idea. Would like to see who lives where, but don't make it manditory.

- Accounts can be deleted by forum administrators (or even a rank higher). If people can delete their own accounts, what would happen with their topics and posts? Older topics will get confusing really quick.

- Why not put your text in that image too? Signatures are fun for some people, but a real pain for others. Those images take up a lot of bandwidth, not a good thing for mobile users like me.

- The search (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?action=search) function seems blocked. Probably a bug or permission error, since i can't think of a reason why you would want to block this function on a forum.

Actually this is possible and their topics and posts dont get removed, just nobody cant access to that account anymore, it was removed i dont know why [/list]

Search function is broken, Both Teddy, Janek and I have looken in to it and can't find a fix. We've asked Gandalf to look in to it.
Sadly there can only be one owner/ editor per topic, you can always contact board moderators.
I agree with the country flags.
We've looked in to awards in the past, and we came to the conclusion it was not recoverable.
A little while ago we removed the function to remove accounts due to the hacks, we've also then decided not to remove any more accounts on the forums. There's no need to delete an account after all (If you want to leave, you can just leave). We have also had a lot of people that deleted their accounts as they were mad, then came back to us and requesting a recovery of it.
Signatures are fine as it is in my opinion.

An efficient search function would be a good generic tool for the forum.

All ideas are GOOD. Only one question. Is it possible to delete your player account from any server? (The question applies to all servers ) I mean, if I want to leave permanently a server (because I have no time /the server has no players anymore ). If it is like a /delete account command, I would gladly use it on the Stunt Server. :depature: :depature:

Forum and site, not game servers.
And most servers do not delete game accounts, as people will come back after a month or so moaning for their account back.

I would definitely love to see country flags being reintroduced, too bad the search button can't be put back, due to some errors. Probably we should try to find newer suggestions for the website.
In my opinion, I think that the server should change its engine, from Simple Machines to a more advanced one, so that the Argonath site can have an optimized site for mobile devices and have an SVG logo for Argonath. I remember the reason why this server doesn't have a mobile version is because of the Simple Machines engine. At least, that's what Teddy (I think) told me once.
