Title: Can't change graphics settings

Today I've installed GTA IV on my PC, and first I had the blackscreen problem which I solved by Tho_Mas post, but now I can't change my graphics settings ingame. it says I've exceeded the amount of resources or whatever (my PC can't run the game propely) even though it obviously can.

PC Specs:
 CPU: i5-4460 3.20Ghz
GPU : Geforce GTX 970
8GB Ram
OS : Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

the game runs smoothly on the minimum but it doesn't let me change the graphics which sucks.

Help pls?

try to do this :
open your note pad and write ;

Quote

-nomemrestrict
-norestrictions

then save it as commandline.txt and put it on your GTA IV folder

Funny thing is I run GTA V on high settings and it says I can't run GTA IV on lowest lol.

That's a known issue of GTA IV ,it doesn't recognize more than 2gb VRam. Usually that commandline works.

As you said before, you currently have GTX 970 gpu, you can try another method by using NVIDIA Geforce experience on your desktop, and change the resolution that you want
try this method if those solutions above dont work

It appears I wrote commanndline instead of commandline (double NN) lol my bad! it works now thanks!
