Post by: Toreto on August 26, 2015, 11:40:39 pm
Good Evining,
i would like to Suggest that, if someone didnt do any action. nor moving the camera ( if he didnt press ESC before going afk ) for 5 min. a AFK text will appear above his nickname
that would really Help Much...

Regards,,,

Most likely not possible in IV:MP. But perhaps a manual /afk command could be added, so that players could toggle their AFK status. Not sure how useful would that be, though.

If you set AFK, the game could automatically answer to whoever PMs you with a generic AFK message, the TAB list could have an extra row to show the AFK status, and I don't know what else.

But i'm not sure how useful this could be, and at the same time you don't want it to be misused...

What if they add it and it gets abused by suspects? but i kinda support it and if they add it, make it impossible to use as suspect.

Suspects get already punished when they go afk using ESC or ALT-Tab, they will be always kicked if afking.

How would it benefit us if this was scripted? (other than knowing whether the player is AFK)
