In the upcoming update we'll be changing the sell vehicle deduction to the state from 25% to 45% this would ensure selling vehicles to players is more cost effective than selling back to state.
This means if you purchased a vehicle for $100,000 you would only get $55,000 back if sold to the state. However, you could sell for higher to a player. The price also doesn't factor in modifications so selling a vehicle to state with modifications provides no monetary benefit where as to a player could interest a higher payment for modifications.
Hope it helps those wishing to enterprise as a dealership.

Am I wrong or if it's 45% and if you buy a 100,000$ vehicle you will get 55,000$ when selling to state?

So we only get the 45% of the Vehicle's value?

When selling back to the state, yes.
-
...
You said in the main post that it is rising from 25% to 45%. So till now you were losing 25% from its value and now you will lose 45% from its value? Not getting 45% from its value.
-
This thing doesn't make any sense ok i understand that you're changing so poeples can interact with each others and will do RP but in case if some one wants to sell his vehicle he will get only 45percent for example i bought a maverick in 600k and i sell it on State becuase i need money and no one is buying so i'll only get 270k? Alright and if i wait week or two week still buyer will pay us maximum 300k becuase they will say that "you will only get 270k"on Dealership"

Great!

Well great ... but which number is right after all? It went from 25% to 45% or to 55%?

45% from the original vehicle's price.

I corrected the original post. It's 45%.

This might be an amazing addittion, but. In my opinion - People that have already bought vehicles, depending that they'll be able to sell them for 75 percent of the actual value, will now have problems as it decreased. Which is unfair in my point of view.
Putting that aside, that's a good idea, althought I think that each vehicle must have a different percentage, depending on it's original value ofcourse.

This actually might be I take a look into. Good idea.

Could also be dependent on the amount of time of usage?. Like, how long the vehicle has been with the owner and how much has it been used.

Would be difficult to implement now as we don't store a timestamp for when a vehicle is purchased. This would've needed to been a system implemented from the beginning unfortunately. I already looked into this x)

Aww, sounds reasonable. The above system mentioned by Drawn will do just fine :)

I lost 25k selling a Turismo, which is 100k. Daylight robbery if I've ever seen one!
I demand a refund or I'm revolting.

Well ... the script we are one is planned to be used for years... Who cares if every vehicles gets the same value for now? Maybe the vehicle IDs can be used aswell?

Interesting idea. I wish there was some sort of announcement before this got implemented because some people don't use forums...

This is the announcement. Want to know what's going on? Read the forums. It's pretty simple.
