Title: [IV:MP] Locking "Car"
Post by: ImamRasyid on October 02, 2015, 03:30:41 pm
I was think much time to make this topic xD ... so when we /carlock or /remotelock car (lock car) why only locked for F (Using the car) but not locked for G (Being Pasanger) ... and its will be better when Passanger door is locked too, or any commands for locking the Passanger door..  we can lock or unlock Passanger door , or driver door .
The suggestion is , we have a command to lock the passanger door in car, "OR" when we /carlock or /remotelock , its automaticly lock the passanger door.
Support Or  Unsupport?
so i hope anyone can understand what did i mean and sry for bad english :)...

"It will be better if passenger door is locked too"

Why? You can always tell someone to get out of your vehicle or either ignore or scare him. I'd go for the second option.

not needed, not supported.

Why do you people wish for a script for every little thing?..

This is basically a mistake from the developers when they wrote the scripts, no one would like to keep others have the acess to their vehicle as a passenger, Besides, this is not logical , a vehicle is being locked but people still have acess to it, I support this idea to be fixed simply to not let others discover this bug and keep posting the same idea

The script is meant to prevent people from driving your vehicle. It's doing exactly that so there's no fault in the script.

It's not a big problem in my option, you can just ignore him. better be with someone so you won't feel bored

Well ! I agree with you , but Isn't it a roleplay mistake ? I won't be so much happy with someone on my vehicle, Maybe he break something , jk , But think about it , it's not a problem but an incomplete script , would be much better if you just fix it , i think this is never used to be on sa:mp

I don't support this idea.
The IV:MP server limits 32 players only, it's not like 100+  where everyone gets in your car every minute in passenger seat and give you a hard time.

Supported, And the commands can be like that: /plock or /premotelock

P - Stands for Passenger

Even if its little, But it has its RP Value, For example, Probably many of you have faced that situation when you are pulled over, And someone just comes and enters as passenger, Even if you don't know him.

LCPD Senior officer and Academy Instructor,
Harzy.

I still can't see how this is gonna help (if that's even possible to script with the limited ivmp functions) or "improve" something which can be roleplayed very well using /em.
For example:

*You're parked sitting into your vehicle
*Random civilian walks around your vehicle and gets in
/em The vehicle is locked (so banal)
*The guy may leave the vehicle, if he doesn't, you can still ask him gently or roleplay as kicking him out the car.

If he is a regular he knows that what is supposed to mean. We don't need a script for each thing, it is better if done with interaction in my opnion.

Or you could ask them nicely to get out or ask admin to eject them out ;)
