1) Plugin the ethernet cable to the xbox
2) Turn it off
3) Turn off your Router & Modem
4) Keep them both unplugged for 25-60 seconds then power them on
5) Turn on xbox

Only some ISPs will work when going through a Computer, to my knowledge.

It might be because you don't have a very large bandwidth or something.

Or, you are actually using a modem and not a router... :trust:

you can only play your 360 on the net connected to a modem for the sacrafice of your PC's net connection.

Do you have any other PCs or laptops in your house, and do u have a wirless network that those PC's are connected to?  If not, you will have to play your 360 with the other PC not connected to the internet.

I used my hub. If you don't have one, buy a hub, [sometimes they're called switches], and plug your internet connection for the PC into the "uplink" section. Some of them come with 4 other ports some with more. Then you can plug one into your xbox, one to PC, one to laptop... That's what I got going on...

If not, just switch the cable between xbox and PC (you don't need both at once?) [If you do, use MSN on the xbox]...

Do you really need to? If you're playing on the xbox, you don't need to be on PC at the same time... You can still use the MSN on the xbox...
