Do you have any mods? If so, remove them or better: do a clean install of your game.

When do you get the crash? If right before the screen when u need to write your password, try re-nameing the San Andreas folder into whatever you want for example San Andreas1 and try again. It worked for me.

Sounds like problem I had but fixed.

This is the only way I know to fix it so far anything else I tried never worked.
You'll need a ISO copy of GTASA then get Daemon Tools and create a virtual drive then mount the ISO image onto the drive.

ISO-file is the "thingy" that is the disc if you buy the game.  Daemon Tools is a program that lets you mount ISO-files so you don't need a disc.

.  Get a hold of a ISO format copy of GTASA.  (removed)
.  Download Daemon Tools
.  Create a virtual drive in Daemon Tools
. Mount ISO image of GTASA onto the virtual drive.

You guys definitely know, we don't support piracy. If you meant to get a pirated copy/version of GTA San Andreas, we cannot provide it to you as it is against the Argonath Vision and Rules and we strongly discourage you to do that. Anybody who is willing to provide the pirated product: if you see some "actions" taken against you, don't be surprised.

Nothing happened wrong so far, take it as a warning.

Newer versions of Windows (10 for sure, can't remember about 7/8/8.1) can mount ISO files on their own as well with no need for Daemon Tools.

How to get hold of GTA ISO Format cpy of GTA SA?

An ISO is a virtual disk image. It's basically a single file that contains an entire CD/DVD (in fact, they are used to make disks of things like games and OSes). It's a CD without the physical disk. Just like a CD, you can access the files off it. When you mount an ISO, it's treated like a CD drive- you can read it, but can't write it.

Once you have the .iso, Download a program to mount it. Daemon Tools or PowerISO(Recommended), after installing one of those programs, right click on the ISO and there should be a menu to Mount it.

@Janar That's right, Windows 10 automatically mount any ISO if you double click on it.

@Trevor. Have you tried re-installing SA-MP?

Note: Some words were removed from some posts due Piracy rules.

No.... Daemon Tools is a program to mount ISO-files. Google "gta sa iso-file" and use Daemon Tools to mount it.
