Hello guys, just wondering when (if) EMS will be back online, since i've noticed that the last member of it Makala_Sparxx logged in EMS forum on 11 October ---> http://www.arfd.argonathrpg.com/ems/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=388
It's really sad to see a group like EMS that time ago was full of skilled and motivated player, now DEAD, i'll be really pleasured to see EMS back on the streets, Skilled EMTs and Paramedics and so on! What can we do for EMS? I'm already trying to help SAFD at the moment, with no results , cause nobody gives attention to SAFD, but atleast, make EMS available once again! Like a real RP server where you can find EMS-Fire Department-Law Enforcement Agencies and not
Law enforcement agencies-MAFIA/GANGS- SAFD

EMS is still a private group, and the job itself is hard to get people to roleplay. Makala is also away on vacation right now dealing with school work. I'll try to get a hold of her this weekend and see what can be done. Things with the group have been on a bit of a hiatus lately for a variety of other reasons too.

The job is actually lovely to role play, the fact that there's almost no one to role-play it with, and driving all alone in your ambulance all day is boring too. You should really step away from saying, it's a private group. Either give someone the chance to 'lead' your /private/ group or just disband it. Give someone else the chance to take over the name.

Anyone is able to roleplay the job all the want. EMS itself is a private group. That does not mean people can't go on Medic Duty as often as they like.

I am sorry SugarD, but he has a point. If you had any decency at all, you would have given up your ARFD Comissioneer rank long ago and given it to someone who actually has the time and the dedication to work on the group. Thanks to you, it is pretty much dead and the only division that actually has atleast 2 percent activity is SAFD. Other ARFD branches are either dead or not even operational (The person who made this topic being the only actual active SAFD member)

I got an IDEA, it's a great IDEA, many will like it many wont.
Remove all EMS/ARFD groups ingame, rebuild it from the ground up, combine those two together ( They would still be two duty points but both respond to ARFD), Fire ALL current EMS/ARFD staff and rebuild it from the ground up.
The claims that EMS/ARFD have no support would stop, and the new team would have 1 month to show what they can do, and what they will be able to do.
Also claims SAPD has best script support and what ever..
Officers on the field have had the same commands for years (/su /jail and some even /unsu!) everything else is roleplay, if you want support you got to earn it.
Edit: and yes this has happened in SAPD before where everyone got fired because of structure issues, and it was able to rebuilt itself (Without server support)

ARFD is a government group. EMS is a private group. They have nothing to do with each other, and will never be merged.

I am not in the mood for another controversial shitstorm for people to use as an excuse to attack me and both those groups. The original poster was given an answer, and so far only Brian has been the only one to keep his replies even remotely relevant to the discussion.
So let me just repeat myself:

You have a complaint about SAFD? Post it on ARFD Forums for Massi to be made aware of, as he is leading that division. Keep it out of this topic.
Don't like that EMS is on hiatus and not organizing medical roleplays? Post it on EMS Forums. Don't want to do that? Go on medical duty and form your own private group under another name. There is no government medical group in Argo that rules over that job. No one is stopping you from creating one.
I am seriously getting tired of people taking simple discussions and blowing them out of proportion...especially when many who complain refuse to help with the problem. That said, have a nice day. I am not going to continue arguing this time.
@Massi: If you wish to discuss this further, I'll be available via PM, Skype, and everywhere else you know of. I'll see if Makala is also able to talk tomorrow night when she gets back from school.

It's not that we do not like EMS. Who cares about EMS anyways?
We do not like ARFD and its inactivity due to your incompetence.
Here, I said it, go ahead and bomb me with warnings like the Russian airstrikes in Syria.

As far as I can see, EMS/ARFD/SAFD and all its other spawn are groups which take initiative to roleplay, and promote this by participating in their groups.
The problem with this, is that these groups work like a closed box. They do not really serve a purpose other than being a circle of friends on the playground.
That is what I understand from what people desire.
My suggestion is, instead of focusing on having the group with foundations, ranks/trees et cetera, think about keeping the group on the whole playground instead of secluding yourself.
EMS and FD have vehicles available, which can be used by anyone. The jobs themselves tend to attract new players who are clueless about the job; and this is where I expect EMS/SAFD to act, and help these guys.
You don't need any special rights or vehicles*, think outside of the box and it saves you and others the headache ;)
*Can be discussed.

The Kolta Family is actively pursuing other avenues to get EMS/FD Roleplay more active.
