Mine was being banned for Armour hacks.... then ban evading.. then being unbanned... I wasn't always the best kind of player.

I was learning fast and was liking the srv a lot. Also will never forget [R*]Pancher, cuz he gave me around 300-400k don't realy remember, to buy my first house and i was extremely happy that day and will never forget him that. :D

Post by: Mikal on November 23, 2015, 11:55:51 pm: Joined in December 2008 as 'Meek', got banned in the first week for "F**k off" by CBF, ban evaded with the name DriverGuy which I used for a few years along with various other names such as Welshy, HeyDude and a few others, came clean in 2011 after playing with the name Mikal for about a year, and have been here since, except for the fact that I recently got back from another years ban, won't be going there again. :rolleyes:

Cops were chasing us and i had to step out and take weapons from you and we were in a hurry so i received the deagle while i'm entering the vehicle and started DB-ing with deagle lel.

I got confused at that time since in Paruni we can DB with deagle and i thought i can DB with deagle in RPG too, i opened fire at the police cruiser by deagle and blew up one car and five seconds later banned. :)

Some days later I was recruited to Stracci by Ollie, done first kidnapping with him RafaDK, Flash, Nitr0x afterwards I remember constant daily Wars with =CM=, Gvardia, Cems, Cuneo, Diablos, Araatus.

After I was done with Stracci, I remember joining SAPD-SATP/SATC the golden era against those dedicated group cops we had at time.
Regret nothing, miss a lot things/people though.

Rolled with Eugene for a while as bloods then Eugene Hell Gvardia together with me formed a badass biker gang as South Side Choppers, after some time i remember a meeting was done at Santa Marina Beach, together with Cofiliano where they decided to make Gvardia. Good times :dance:

Post by: Marcel on November 24, 2015, 03:17:46 am: I joined, got banned for using a vehicle HP hack a few days later. Joined Blackwater mercenaries a few days after getting unbanned and did some shit with them, got my weapons and such.

After a while, I met up with people from ADF and started rolling with them. I left Blackwater and became full-time ADF. That was the best time ever, with Teddy, D_Kubisewski, Reece, Gibson. I will never forget the times that followed, which even took us to other games, got us into fights with Salmonella over who could use the military bases.

Much other stuff followed, resulting in where we are today.

Don't forget to have fun people :)

I was driving crazy and he tried to pull me over, but I hadn't even learned the /me command, and was talking shit to him in /p. My car finally blew up, and I ran towards him to beat him to death, but apparently cops carried guns even in RS1, and I got wasted. After that Pancher crash coursed me on how the server works, introduced me to Gandalf and Ron, and I've been here off and on ever since.

Essentially, I've been experimenting ever since day one, finding what suited me the most. As well as the (what seemed impossible) goal of managing such a great and curious community, which stemmed from the desire to have players enjoy the game without disturbance.
Unfortunately, the two friends that had introduced me to argonath have long since lost interest. They do know where I am now, at least.

Shoutouts go to @Xyliosius and Robin_Waterwoods, or what his name used to be.

I left and went back to my admin duties in NoN. Sometime in January 2009, the server shut so I moved to Argonath SAMP. 6+ years later down the line, I'm one of the remaining veterans in this community or shall I say 'Last of a dying breed'.

Within the first hour, I had SRU on my ass. Since then I was hooked onto the game and the server. I then bumped into Janek and he sponsored me $300k so I got myself a house in Jefferson and spent an hour going around the map to find an unowned car and ended up getting a Windsor. Couple weeks later I see Drix on the main chat and we kept contact as we played a VCMP server beforehand. At the time we were the only two Albanians until everyone else came and ruined the respect we built during that time.

I miss those days, now the community is infested with kids.

Date I originally joined: December 2008
Date I officially joined: 19/01/09

EDIT: Yeah I was like 13 at the time but my generation were way calmer than you kids in the present generation.

Serbian admin confonted me about it told me what i did wrong and how to do better. I invited a dozen of irl friends to join. On my third day on argo two of them started playing and got banned for multi accounting without questions asked (irl brothers).i pmed the admin who banned them 'this is bullshit' and got banned for it. Ban evaded 6 times till i realised how the unban request system works xd

Not for me though.

I'm originally from our IVMP Server, so I pretty much knew the rules. [Rstar]Jaaskaa introduced me to the server and brought me into Kolta within the first few months. Then with his help and Fernando's, I joined the FBI and was recruited the same day as Teddy. Been here ever since and got to where I am today.... :)

Had a trainer on, joined in early 2009, accidentally spawned an armour and unlimited HP hacks, car exploded, was wondering why I didn't die, so did the admins, then I got banned.
Then at late 2009 ban evaded a few times, until I discovered how the forums worked, registered and made an unban request, was ban evading in meanwhile and after I got unbanned I continued playing on the 'ban evade' account as 'TheeZakje'.

Came back in August 2010 and early found my way around with help of newbie family called Scalletta that taught me more about RP, powergaming, metagaming and such. They closed within two months and I was recruited by Berluccini Mafia and moved to San Fierro, by that time I brought Buzz_Gvardia another IRL friend to server and became a friend of Gvardia family and ended up in Stracci by early 2011.

Couldn't get there in time to run so respawned in the desert to get a state hydra and go take a look. Someone freaked out that I was flying this thing around and decided that it would be genius to shoot at me with an M4. Lost control from the damage and crash landed into the ground killing everyone.

I managed to meet the first players at the Corleone HQ, and I was killed within 5 minutes as I was surely ruining their gameplay. That's my very first experience! :D

I started with ramming large vehicles through the clusterfuck of abandoned cars at Pershing Square for kicks. It was satisfying as hell. At the time I thought the "no ramming" rule only classified as ramming other players, but I learned that ramming cars at a commonly populated area was a nuisance, I suppose. I understood roleplay before ever joining but was young and hadn't quite developed my own way.

After a bit of playing [Rstar]Cutt3r picked me up out of nowhere and showed me where stuff is, like City Hall and the bank. From there the rest is history.

I didn't get banned 'till like over a year later or so for crude racist jokes inside and outside of RP. Eventually went on to become a highly successful troll, enough so to even peck the nerves of the owners :lol:. It's funny how I can look back at my time spent here and see how much growth has taken place.

I had downloaded SAMP two days ago because I wanted a flight simulator and I found out there was a now defunct server called Pilots Life. Argonath was the third server I ever joined. Just as I got in, I asked how to change my skin and bought the “leather chaps” biker guy skin. I got hooked up with the 8th Street guys, Candy Mayne, Nicki and Larry. They got me some new clothes and didnt even show me around, straight into roleplay. I was coming from an MMORPG in which I already roleplayed. Either way my English sucked. I thought about starting over creating a new account because I felt the urge to get my license and buy a car, and in the rush I bought a green quad just to fit in and ran out of money. Somehow I was multiaccounting and was never warned for it. The next week, 8th Street disbanded. Soon after I met Vomit and Mandam, I joined Immortals. The first we did together was protesting with bats against police brutality at LSPD, lol. Not so long after all this, I’d meet two argentinians with which I kept contact for years, founders of the Rivossechi Family, which also happened to be @Manoni ‘s first group If I’m correct. Later that year Man Pony betrayed la raza and sold us out to the feds :P

Surprisingly I didn't just DMed everyone like most of new players do, and decided to see what's going on here, and why they are so peaceful (I only played DM servers before). First thing I saw here was a some kind of a car show going on Unity Station with lowriders and shit. Then I just left it, and came back in 2009, where some cop (I still remember his name- Oliver) picked me up and showed how the server works. Then I just worked with him in police. That's all I remember :P

Once I got my own connection like two years later or so, I noticed a familiar name in SAMP and joined. Ended up roleplaying arresting someone who wasn't wanted and got explained the rules by an admin I don't remember. This was 2009 or so.

Then I opened my own police group that was later known as Argonath Traffic Police and did quite successfully operate for several years. More veteran ARPD officers will surely remember it :cop: :cop:

He also apologised for the amount of times he killed me! no more than a month later i was part of [GSF] and stayed until we merged with Gvardia/SSC.

Another thing i recall was striking lucky and winning a crazy lotto with the original 10k that was gave to me, (Also the amount of people that would PM after winning a lotto begging for money!!!!) that in part kept me in the server. to bad i couldn't have a Passport or a licence at that time as i was still in the probation period. but as soon as i passed all my tests got myself a green Slamvan.

i actually think i have a photo of it somewhere let me check..
