Today Christmas is an event that is viewed as a time of the year when family and friends come together to celebrate unity, family, friendship, hope, and love. This year we're honoring the Christmas spirit in a very non-religious sense by having a "12 days of Christmas" event. Our event will automatically begin on December 12th and will end on December 24th. However our decor will be available starting today. You will notice that Pershing Square has become decorated with some holiday spirit thanks to Mikal. Special thanks to Correlli (SA-MP forums) for the Los Santos snow coverage map. You will also see Christmas presents that drop in randomly around the square, also for some unknown reason some of these boxes get scared and run away. Don't worry, they get recollected by Santa. Don't worry if no gifts are available when you check, just wait a few minutes and some new ones should drop in. These gifts are openable by players for goodies. You can collect up 1 gift per day, so you can't be greedy! You can open the box using /opengift, but be careful some are naughty and may give you a very nasty surprise. Don't worry though, the naughty one's don't count to your limit. Good gifts randomly contain money and items. Gifts may also contain leaked RS5.2 changelog notes. You can feel free to share these leaks with the community, but a handful of never before disclosed changes are available. Don't worry though, we have plenty more hushed changes that we're excited for. So this holiday let's unite and celebrate with some free stuff! Most companies don't say "Christmas sale/event/giveaway is not religious". I'm fine with events and giving away presents, I'd love to parttake myself but Teddy's post talking about Christmas being a none religious thing and having celebrating it in a fully non-religious way was offensive.
I was forum banned for supposed "religious intolerance" because of signatures about islamisation, but when HQ takes a piss on the Christian religion it's perfectly fine...If we are gonna preach religious tolerance and love, why allow muslim players to post many "Eid Mubarak" topics and all that, letting them support their muslim faith, but when someone wishes to celebrate Christian holidays everyone takes a piss on it.
