Wrong group started, sorry for being so boring about these groups.
-
Best of luck mate. I really wish you change your mentality on certain things though.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hello citizens of Argonath, today, I have wanted to tell you, that the DoC Shall work very closely with the FBI against corrupted law enforcement personell or law enforcement personell that made tiny or serious law breaks.
We shall try to get evidence for the most tiniest to the most biggest law breaks made from Law Enforcement Personel.
We ARE NOT gonna take the FBI's role, but if we do spot corruption or law breaks as the first people to see it, we will report it immediatly
If you have spotted ANY corrupt or law breaks made by law enforcement personel, send a Personal Message to Warden Luis Hernandez, IMMEDIATLY, and I will make sure for the FBI to get the most information about the reported person(or people).
Thank you.
Signed by,
Warden Luis Hernandez

Just wondering; shouldn't you focus more on prison RP and such (in my opinion it's the best option as your group would be pretty unique) and not on corruption as that's FBI's job?
-
Thanks for the offer, we'd rather not have another agency to interfere with our duties and tasks.
You will report a crime like any other citizen and we will continue to investigate it by ourselves.
Same for any other type of crime - terrorism, organized crime, corruption and everything else listed here: (CLICK) (http://fbi.argonathrpg.com/index.php?topic=25.0)
Also you might have mistaken the meaning of Department of Corrections, it's not to correct other Law Enforcement members but to guard prison and the people inside it.
Good luck.

Well Matthew, I know that, but the DoC is trying to have a STRONG relationship with the Court, and wishes to also, execute orders from Judges. Like to conduct raids or arrests, ETC.
-
Not going to happen.

Guard prison and the people inside it, yes, that is correct and true, but did you forget about parolee's? What about prison breaks? What about catching high-risk suspects and taking them to the most secure place and that is KACC?
-
Luis why don't you apply for FBI
-
Luis why don't you apply for FBI
Because, DoC is a unique organization in Argonath, so why not keep it?
-

Then he becomes wanted by the police for breaking out of a prison.
-
Then he becomes wanted by the police for breaking out of a prison.
Well, DoC was responsible for him and has jurisdiction over him, so it is DoC's responsibility to get him and bring him back.
-
I rest my case and invite real life members of Police, Damien Taylor and Dean to clear it up for you.
I'm sure you don't see prison guards walking on streets searching for a escapee. They'll explain more in detail who does what.
-
Good luck once more!
-
How can you say that you ARE going to work with FBI? An agency which I presume you've never worked with before?
How can you say you have a 'strong relationship' with the courts? Also an organisation which you haven't worked with before...
Why would a 'Department of Corrections' investigate police corruption?
Set your group goals which you can actually achieve, that is, guarding prisons and prisoners.

Since we have started arguing about it, here is the list of our duites.
- - Security over Argonath prisons and jails.
- - Security over suspects in DoC's jurisdiction, and security of DoC personel.
- - In charge of the Argonath parolee systems.
- - Full responsibility over suspects in DoC's jurisdiction, thus, the right to interrogate them, treat them as needed, etc...
- - Full responsibility of prisons and jails.
- - Armed Transportations of high risk suspects OR DoC documents or DoC high ranked personel.
- - Search for DoC's suspects or high-risk suspects.
- - Assisting other agencies with DoC's gathered intelligence, and/or, equipment and financial support.
-
That's not your job.
It is.
-
Oh wait, I started the wrong group.
Sorry, I had another one on my mind, but seems people are right about DoC.
Sorry for wasting your time.
I have no idea why I even started this a few hours ago, yes, it is unique, but boring.
As I said, I started the wrong group.

It is a great group, just not for you.
For further reference if needed.

You do not have the right to interrogate suspects, and if they had to the FBI would have done so already.
- - Search for DoC's suspects or high-risk suspects.
You don't search for them, you supervise them while in your jurisdiction = inside a prison.
- - Assisting other agencies with DoC's gathered intelligence, and/or, equipment and financial support.
You can do so as any civilian, an example would be here (http://fbi.argonathrpg.com/index.php?board=663.0).
-
If I did see just a bit of usefullness in this group, I would let it run until I left Argonath, but yet, more and more people are making me realize that DoC is useless, and boring.
All I can do is in prisons, so yeah, to anyone who wants to start DoC, just ask me.
-
I find this really really awkward and i think I'm not the only one.
You should try focusing on a real point, this group was alive for like an hour lol.
-
man you're hilarious
-
No offence but, please don't make anymore groups.
