Title: Phone OS Version
Post by: Teddy on January 10, 2016, 10:50:50 pm
In order for us to best build apps targeted for appropriate version levels; we need to know what versions most of the phones are running. If your exact version isn't available please selected the closest rounded down version you can find on our list.

For other android users, go to settings > About phone. there you can find your "Android version"
For iPhones it's Settings > General > Info
For Windows phone it should also be Settings > About phone, if I remember correctly.

You should add Windows Phone.

The framework we are using does not support Windows phones thus we will not be producing apps for these devices. Sorry.

You can check it out, go to Settings > About phone. there you can find your "Android version"

P.S Even if a mobile doesn't supports higher version of android, one can easily root and flash a custom rom.

Thanks for the submissions

Our app will target Android 4.1.x and up along with iOS 7+.

Windows Phone support will come at a later time dependent on framework's support.

Will the application be able to run on devices with a higher version of Android than you just stated?

Windows 10 has this thing going on where you can port your iOS app to Windows Store app with little modification. You can try that. I don't know the details.

It's likely that you will have to actually develop the iOS app natively in objective C or swift for this to be possible, which is unlikely if they're using a multiplatform framework to get an android version out too.

What framework are you using btw?

It says voting closes January 24th, but it appears that the poll is already locked for me.

For reference if you are still asking, Android 5.1.1 over here.

We closed the poll as we have enough data to use the minimal target framework version. We cannot go any lower at this point with those versions.

That's pretty weird, lot of players with iOS. I thought Android is more popular.
