Title: I launch IVMP, singleplayer loads instead. [Solved]

Greetings everyone reading,
I am having a big problem with GTA IV (W8), when I double click to launch it, it loads Singleplayer instead.
it would be appreciated if someone would help!

i have this same problem :/...happened to me when i rebooted my pc settings and installed gta 4 because it was not starting and now this happens

Make sure that both IV:MP.exe and GTAIV.exe's are set to "Run as administrator" and that their compatibility modes match.

Please make sure that you installed Update 1.0.7.0, then the IVMP T3 client , then install the xliveless from here http://gtaforums.com/topic/388658-relgtaiv-xliveless/ (http://gtaforums.com/topic/388658-relgtaiv-xliveless/)
run single player ( not ivmp ) at first, and wait till you spawn in the city.
after that close the game from the ESC menu > Quite.
now try to run IVMP as administrator.

I looked through other topics and vito had the same problem, I used the solution there and it worked, thanks everyone anyways!
