Title: Suspected trainer usage for MTA?
Post by: Anto on January 07, 2008, 03:58:00 pm
i was playing for my first time on MTA i was having a good time and Kojak teaching me all the commands, then i got disconnected reason: suspected trainer usage.

i find it very funny that i got disconnected for 'suspected trainer usage' as i would never hack. can anyone help me with this?? and No, before anyone asks, i do not have any files on my comouter with the name 'hack' so this could not be the reason.

Regards, Anto

Did you use the Crusador skin (looks like SWAT or something like that)?

If you did, then thats the reason - the skin is armor glitched.

:ps: Also words like 'cheat', 'trainer' and 'blood' might close your game.

:ps: :ps: dont open imageshack.us links nor listen to the Bloodhound Gang ;)

Anto the Crusador skin is bugged, you can never use it twice in a row. I imagine it cant be fixed, so when you die, just respawn with a different skin. All should be fine Anto, no need to worry about the suspected trainer, its just safety precautions.

Remove all background programs, and any websites that may have "Banned" or "Hack" in it. Some words are sensitive and trigger and cause the Disconnection from MTA. Close these and it should be fine.

I remember this, when I was on the radio back in the "MTA days", playing songs by groups with these banned phrases in, then mostly the whole server was kicked. :(

Funny times though...

lol me and Ron both agree that MTA has the best danm punk buster ever

any words such as hack ban banned or anything relating in a background program to those will dissconnect you for 10 seconds
the punk buster is probally reason Vice crusador is glitched :P put to much work into the kick and not enough into the skins

Haven't played for a while but if I'm correct then any armour above 150 then you will get kicked. Using the crusader skin then using the cop skin or using the crusader skin and then using it again will get you kicked.

I reinstalled VC because it didn't work anymore, but now I have exact the same problem as Anto: suspected trainer usage. I also tried to reinstall MTA, but that didn't help. Of course I tried without background programs, any ideas or do i just have a wrong not legal VC version?

MTA won't even run with Xfire, because it starts with "X"  :conf:.
Also, make sure you close this thread, since it contains the word "trainer". Sometimes MTA is stupid like that .

Then again, MTA:VC still pwns everything.  :D

last resort is a hacked MTA client to get rid of the MTA punkbuster but no... you shouldn't

ppl had their MTA screwed and had no other choice but to re install windows or get that client

i don't know of a "legal" fix though :(

I have the same problem.

One of the reasons you don't see me on MTA VC.  :(

its not a case of reinstalling windows, i reinstalled my windows and everything was wiped, i installed 2 things MTA and vice city they were practically the only thing on my computer and i had like 2 destop items, i loaded MTA up to play it and i still got suspected trainer usage.. maybe it is an IP problem.. i know its unlikely but i cant think of anything else

MTA doesn't have punkbuster (http://www.evenbalance.com/), it has a shit "cheat detection system".

Imageshack: suspected trainer.
The word blood in some window: suspected trainer.
hack, trainer, cheat... suspected trainer.

Close EVERY WINDOW POSSIBLE when starting. And disable XFire ingame, GTA doesn't support it.

MTA won't even run with Xfire, because it starts with "X"  :conf:.

Aparently the MTA team offered xfire their support in getting it working, but xfire didn't reply or something..

Firstly make sure you have a valid MTA client
Download it from here: http://www.mtavc.com/dl-archive.html > MTA v0.5 for GTA3 & VC > Win32 Client > DOWNLOAD NOW
I've been using that link for a long time and never had any problems.

If it still doesn't work then its got to be your vice city installation.
Try installing a different vice city source.

Don't use a modified client.

You can install MTA into any directory, I think VC:MP must be installed into your GTA directory.
So maybe you could install MTA into your GTA directory.

I already installed VC:MP and LC:MP (nostalgic feelings ) I just removed the MTA client because my antivir told me it had a trojan , just reloaded it from your site , same result (trojan warning) Idid read somewhere that this is no trojan but has to do with how MTA uses RAM but I am not really a big fan of MTA anyway although I would like to try MTA:SA but thats a different story

Check what safety programs are running. There have been reports that Kasperski-antiHACK caused the message, and I am not sure if something like spyBOT could have the same effect.
