All job pickups should have a appropriate marker on the map like in single player.
Veteran players can help making those small logos :)

IIRC, markers on the map for players were discussed at some point during the development of the RPG 3.0 script. It came to a conclusion that they should know where the places are and if they don't, they could always ask any of the available players. Having job markers on the radar will also make the radar seem cluttered up for regular players, hence the reason why it was not implemented.
I still want a command/feature where you can toggle on and off those markers however this isn't a complete solution, I know.

This can still be discussed if we can properly enable this without it making the minimap too cluttered (or have the map from VC:MP general show up ingame via a command) ;)
-
Maybe, for important locations only.
-
What needs to be actually done is blips for lots of shit to make it as newb friendly as possible. Have to deliver cargo somewhere? blip. Someone calls taxi somewhere? blip.
-
Blips depending on jobs is fine, that can be created.
But permanent markers on maps are dodgy since some do not want their minimap to have anything extra.
-
Better to have cutscenes showing where the jobs start etc instead, VC map is so small even someones whos barely acquinted with it wont have any trouble finding a location thats shown to him.

I agree. This makes perfect sense.

This is already on my to-do. For the markers I think we can make them visible if player is in a certain range and also it can be done so that if player enters the 'map' from the pause menu he will be able to see all markers. Both of these can be easily done.
