Argonath RPG - A World of its own

It's not a secret since the transition which started few weeks ago heading to a orientation which provides serious roleplay standards and less free-roam ideology, Argonath RPG has been in a blatant comparison with other communities. Until here I got nothing against since taking others success as example is what motivates the world go forward.
My concerns remains when we directly spell names of the other communities. Doesn't matter the intention, in my eyes still is a rule-break. Even if is not count as advertise to me still is a indirect disrespect toward our community. Therefore inspired from latest topics and subject not only on forums but even in public chat in game I come here to ask for an clarification:
Is the mention of the other communities rule-break or not?
I don't consider what is in back of the "mention" might be example or advertise I really don't want to know about the purpose when players mention other communities but what I would like to know is:
In what way administration handle those cases and why no punishments are issued in the last episodes?

ohh for fuck sake..

If you would get in my position would really be pissed off, for fuck sake..

Before, we avoided any and all mention to other communities out of overhead fear of it leading to discussions about it, to comparisons between the rival and our community.
Lately, we state the obvious that recruiting, praising and advertising rival communities will result in a banishment.
Mentioning communities on the other hand is strongly recommended against, but it does not directly mean you were advertising it. It wouldn't be triggering a direct ban, but we still tell you not to do it out of safety.

The whole "omg you can't mention that server" is total bullshit.
As much as I know, there are no rule regarding the talk about LS:RP, nor any of the other communities out there anymore.
And why should it even be forbidden to talk about other servers? People will explore stuff whether people want it or not.

Comparing certain features from other communities isn't a problem. The line people should not cross is where it turns into a clear advertisement. Other than that, you're fine.

Mentioning other communities? Nothing against it, nor is it advertising.
Mentioning other community then "recruiting" by telling people to play there instead? Big no-no.
My two cents on the matter.

Very well, a member of mine few months ago got banned for mentioning the server given above as example without trying to advertise or etc. he's one of the most active players here and he don't even try to visit other communities. I had a strange feeling in beginning, but when I saw that he wasn't the only, yet, he was the only who got punished i experienced a bit of frustration: but when I saw the admin who directly banned my member time ago mentioning the same server in public chat (obviously he didn't had intention to advertise however not trying to complain here, ok) got me bashed totally.

Almost the same for me:
If you mention another community in a neutral way - Nothing wrong with it
If you mention another community in a provocative way or "It's better" etc - You'll be warned (un)officialy
If you mention another community and advertise it - Ban
