Title: What's going on with the SA:MP monitor?
Post by: Julio. on April 25, 2016, 10:32:58 am
Hey,

I noticed this a few days back and thought nothing of it, but the SA:MP monitor seems to be misbehaving a little.
At the following link: http://monitor.sacnr.com/server-1671653.html

The server peaked at around 81/82 people but the monitor failed to register it, is this linked to the issues we've been having where the server isn't showing up correctly in the SA:MP client?
I don't know how important the monitor actually is, but if anyone were to be using it to track statistics, or indeed choose an active server to play on, this this could be a bit of a concern as it could both put people off, and it gives us all an inaccurate view of the current active player count on the server.

Anyone else noticed?

Fully aware of that particular issue.

I'm therefore assuming by posting that link you mean that the monitor I posted is also having issues for that same reason. In which case. Thank you for your thorough explanation.

Best,
J.

Ye. Firewall blocked a lot of people from connecting to it. It seems that it especially disliked UK residents as they constantly couldn't connect.

Yeah, same thing happened to my statistics website a couple of times. It doesn't always work when I try to get the server info.

Perhaps it can sense the sarcasm, you know what us Brits are like with sarcasm... (and tea)    ;)
