Hola,
I think we've reached the point in time where we're starting to see more roleplay in-game but we're not quite where we can be. We still see a handful of people who are failing to adapt and at this point we're going to say enough with the dance and enough with the warnings. If a veteran is seen breaking our enforcement policy, or any other common roleplay rule then we will kindly show them the door.
This is it. Roleplay. Always. Have fun, and by that I don't mean always win. There are a few people who still don't understand that this is a roleplay server and not a winning server.
No specific events inspired this, it's just time we draw the line of playing nice with the new concepts and start getting on top of those who are failing to adapt.
Kindly,
Teddy

Considering an admin just linked this specifically to me on Skype, it'd definitely be about what happened yesterday would it not?
And I'll just clarify because I don't know what HQ was shown, there was about 25 minutes of peaceful protest RP before the fighting started and the fight did only start because SWAT approached us on foot with a SWAT tank behind them which pretty much could have taken us all out with the water cannon making us easy pickings for the cops standing, along with their constant shouting for us to leave, we fired first because we felt threatened, after all the cops were dead I instantly got accused of death matching by an admin who himself said he didn't even see the whole thing, but I guess SAPD losing is enough to justify a death matching accusation isn't it? I don't want to turn this into a cops vs criminals discussion because it really isn't about that right now, it's about the way situations involving cops and criminals are dealt with by admins, all the time cops plunder our large scale RP's and then 'hunt us down' to kill us and death matching is never mentioned once, but when a literal rebel army who are actually rebelling against the US of Argonath undertake a major assault and win, it's death matching, why? It should work both ways, we only hunted and killed those who attacked us, and we finished it by killing 2 SWAT who exited the LSPD garage in a SWAT tank (spawning ontop of me in the process), who were also directly involved in the shootout at LS bank.
I thought this rule disallowing cops from returning after death was about making things more fair and balanced, but if us criminals are going to be accused of DMing when we win, you might aswell reverse it and let us all be slaughtered 24/7.

Truth be told, I heard something happened yesterday but never looked into it. So no, this is entirely unrelated to any specific event. I'm not afraid to call anyone out or a specific event, so if it was I'd have no problem admitting it. It's simply just time we cross this bridge.

What happened to the Constitution allowing peaceful protest?

Molotovs and RPGs are peaceful protest tools as well, I don't see why SWAT had to disturb it..

Notice how they were only used when SWAT was called and intimidated them with a water tank and ordered them to disburse. Again the original question of what happened to peaceful protest invokes, why law enforcement showed up in the first place. Granted I was not there, so I don't know the full facts surrounding what happened, but to my understanding and by the pictures I saw, if they were not blocking public access to a building or major roadways, they have the right to assemble.
So that brings up the question why law enforcement intervened in the first place.
P.S. if they were violating any of the above, then obviously law enforcement had a reason to be there.

SWAT was called after Molotov's were used and ads about it being on fire.

Disregard my previous statements then.

As I recall this topic is a warning, not a place to discuss what happened yesterday. Knock it off.
