Shadowplay by default doesn't work with GTASA/SAMP because it doesn't support the underscore(_) in the gta_sa.exe.
To make it work one has to change the exe file to gta-sa.exe and then go to registry editor and change the target file of SA:MP to gta-sa.exe.
Now that's where it goes wrong when it's a modded game. My modded game worked as long as the exe file was gta_sa.exe. And shadowplay doesn't work with that.
So I changed my modded game's exe file to gta-sa.exe and after that, my game wouldn't even start.
I feel it probably has something to do with the vorbis files because the vorbis files probably work with the file name gta_sa.exe and not gta-sa.exe. But hey I am not expert.
Anyone has any idea how to fix this?

Shadowplay works completely fine for me. I have all kinds of mods, ENB, weapons, skins, sounds... everything perfect.

Might literally be a case of adding quotation marks either side of the gta_sa.exe path in Shadowplay?#
I've never used it, but it sounds odd it doesn't like the underscore.

Shadowplay has always worked for me on any fullscreen game / application, regardless of the executable name. I used to have a modded GTA SA (cleo, ENB, asi loader, etc) and it worked without issues and no need for any workaround.

if your game takes too long to boot up due to too many injected mods (like enb or different dlls/asis) theres a chance shadowplay won't detect it properly
-
Open ShadowPlay settings, turn on Desktop Capture and it will record whatever is on your screen at the time.

Will try out and post results as soon as I have internet again.
