Microsoft just announced the Xbox One S at E3 2016. It’s 40 percent smaller than the Xbox One and features a fresh coat of “robot white†paint, 4K Ultra HD video support, and HDR capabilities for both gaming and video.
A good thing about this console is that the new control can now be paired with a computer without the need for a dongle.
Xbox One S will be released in August.

In an interview with Eurogamer did with Xbox boss Phil Spencer Spencer mentioned that Project Scorpion is not something to have if you do not own a 4K TV . If you have only one TV that churns out a maximum of 1080 suffices well with an Xbox One S.
"Then you should buy this box [Xbox One S], because Scorpio is not going to do anything for you. Scorpio is designed as a 4K console, and if you don't have a 4K TV, the benefit we've designed for, you're not going to see. Clearly, you can buy Scorpio, and if and when you decide you want to buy a 4K television to take advantage of the increased performance, obviously the console will be ready for you."
