Title: Sauron, we have a problem

July 16 2006. Script writing is in full progress, Aragorn and Legolas have created a list of scripts that are really needed, and we are discussing options that will be unique.
Testing is in progress. Now those of you who have been testers on SA:MP might think that in those days it was similar, running around doing some RP and then telling all is ok. But no.
Testing meant that you go through each and every command whenever one single one is changed, o ensure that everything still works. That means doing the same over and over again after every update. Tedious work, but needed.

Our first achievement of uniqueness: the ability to create named properties. The first test was a tree.
"Ronnel hugs his tree" was the proof it worked.

But then there was a problem. The Canadian server which we selected did its job but... the ping was over 100 most of the time.
Even without scripts the ping was still high, and we understood that it was not the server but the location.
If we wanted to compete with the European servers, we needed to change.

He's telling a day-by-day of the events leading up to Argonath RPG's founding, just as they were 10 years ago from the day. Argo's big birthday is almost here!
