I have not been in my recent positions for long and also have not made much choices/decisions but a few. For years I have been scripting and devoting my time to helping the players of this community. Not ever have my actions be negatively judged from higher up. Not ever have I misused my rights for personal gain. From my view I have been pretty decent, fair and accepting.
However it appears that no one has the balls to step up and tell me in a decent and constructive matter that I am wrong according to their opinion. I am now being forced out of my positions by certain staff and non staff members from which I don't know the identity. It is not comfortable to hear about all this just in the past hour and being forced to resign. Only recent I have been on the steering wheel, but from what I have heard, I am blamed for a lot more than recently.
All I tried to do was to be fair, to listen, to discuss and above all to help anyone in need, especially in-game. I am sad it has to end this way.
Even though some people think differently, I am proud of what I have done and what I have tried. I am still standing behind all my decisions, but hereby I am handing that responsibility to other players. I wish you all good luck with the heavy weight of this community.
Hereby I am resigning as Manager and as Lead Developer.
I will stay in the development team and will keep scripting for the players. All decisions will be made by the full team collectively. My development access will remain, but of course used within the limits I have always been using them. My decisions stand till someone on the position of manager or higher will revoke them.
Wish you all the best luck and hopefully you will be waiting for much more civilian scripts to come.

I suck at making a constructive post, but trust me I've tried before and they haven't been approved by mods.
I have once called you powerhungry, and I did NOT think of the rest of the team at the time, I tried to call one person that wasn't you, however you all over reacted and blah blah. I apologized to you and yet you ignored me. And then you ask us to thank you. Well that to me isn't right. Just because I fucked up, doesn't mean I meant it. You at the time had no power ( except for scripter ) so I don't know how calling you powerhungry would make you sad.
From your point of view you've been a great example. But take a look at recent unban requests, after you take a break, and then think on your right mind. You made up bunch of rules such as using /area for self-gain or whatever horseshit that was. 4 Gvardias were banned for using /gm, yet matthew was unbanned in less than 12 hours for doing the exact same thing, with no RP whatsoever.
In the other topic, I don't think anyone called you out on your scripting capabilities, and I even made a reply to defend you as a scripter. You fail to accept your mistakes, that's why people don't like you.

Don't twist situations around, in Matthews case no one was kidnapped haha.
I am in no way upset, don't worry. Just want to truth to be out there. The heavy weight is off my shoulders, so I in some way I am pretty happy. :D

Sure, i'll give mine. Since the moment you took the lead of the scripting team and the rest of HQ left (Teddy, Devin and Rusty) your case handling looked to me pretty one sided. I have said this to another manager.

I've always been straight forward and always spoken the truth, so you want constructive, here it is.
You're a little bit one sided, atleast that's how it looks to us, the rest of the players. We've only seen you script anything that favors the law enforcements. Storage system for example somehow was never completed, but anywho.
The reason I would support your resigning is not because you yourself did a bad job persay, its because the staff that you were leading were unfit and abusive, incapable of administration and incapable of discussion. You, yourself, aren't bad, but you're the one held responsible for the chaos and bollocks your own team have created. That is why you're mostly responsible, for the wrong doings from the rest of the administration team.

I for one think more resignations should follow, not because I wan't to see Argonath crash but because half of the people running it are completely incapable, from being one sided to being straight up c*nts some have spent all their time driving other players away.
Take my ban for example, I was stood on the side of the road in the /hitchhike anim, a cop pulled over and I got into his car, being the crazy person I am I started to refuse to get out after he'd drove around a bit, instead of the cop RPing his way around it and forcing me out he /reported me which lead to an admin coming (you know who you are) and that admin /akilled me, after the admin kill he (the admin) decided to come onto my PM for some baiting, I had not contacted him after the admin kill but since he was PMing me I notified him that he did not know what he was doing and then turned my PM off, instead of leaving it at that the admin admin messaged me and then tempbanned for 60 minutes for "Lack of attitude".
Whilst I was offline temp banned I posted what happened in the funny chat logs section, that was removed and I was forum moderated, even more pissed off I PMed Eymas complaining about the forums and what happened in-game, there I told him "You might aswell ban me" - He didn't, but Mikro (who somehow got hold of the PRIVATE forum PM) did and then decided to tell me that I actually requested a ban when I posted an unban request which was denied.
I hope this post sheds light on an example of bad administration and leadership, if players are going to be treated like I was, why would they stay here? Sure I said things I probably shouldn't have but that's what happens when people get pissed off and why in Argonath do players get pissed off by administration? You're supposed to make the experience more fun.

Teddy were doing his job perfectly, made many changes not for himself, for whom? For you all and me. How fucking hard is that for you to at least appeciate their hard work? Everytime they released a new update.. you all were like "thanks man, you are awesome".. like seriously? For fuck sake guys.. why the fuck you all are behaving as they were just having powers to ban now? Trolling here is unlimited. The actual reason of playerbase drop is not the staff team but you. The same thing I was talking about in game today and a player asked me.. "what you even want to change in us?" As you are perfect, duh. I really have few people in mind that must be kicked out permanently due to their shit behavior.
Aside to that, thanks Mikro for everything you did. Good luck with your future plans.

I knew you made a few mistakes but I could not report them in due time as I was still trying to figure out the best practice to fix them. In a way I also didn't want to bring more pressure onto you than you already had, and it pushed you under... I feel bad, but I'm sure people will say I shouldn't.
Despite the wrongs you still made a right, as it was nice working with each other in HQ. And even with this unfortunate split, I sitll wish you good luck with your future endeavors and stay in the development team. Know that I can't remain alone forever though, I may need to knock on your door a few times regardless :lol:

You always tried to do what you thought was best for everyone, that's all that matters. Have you made some mistakes? Sure, but so has everyone at some point in their lives. Regardless, best of luck in your ongoing Argonath endeavours Mikro. :)

I hold no grudge against you, you did what you thought was best for the server and as the highest rank currently on the server you had absolutely every right to do so.

Some part of me hoped the bullshit that is happening behind the scenes would become more transparent, but that hope has sailed. I wish everyone in their new positions good luck.
Hereby I am resigning from my developer position. I have removed all my rights as far as possible. The panel will not be updated anymore, but will be ran on my server for as long it can connect to the database.

Anyway I would like to use this topic as my resignation too. I hereby resign from all of my positions due some IRL(:P) problems (excluding CMB and FBI).

I am sad to see you go, as I was happy to see you in the development team and respect all the work you put in.
Somehow I hope you will fid the motivation again, I will see if I can discuss some things with you in the future as we did never had a good chance to do so.
For now I just had to accept your resignation for other reasons.
