Title: Suggestions for VCMP

Some suggestions here i would like to share:
-VCPD Shouldnt be able to use FBI Vehicles or SWAT by script.
-Disable this dieing as civilian and returning as a cop , heres example i die in smuggle i return as a cop to kill others , makes no sense there.
-Remove spawning at airport again and again when dieing as a cop
-Repair the yacht sync a little bit atleast
-Access to all the skins for VCPD Cadets
-Add fuel system make the gas station useful it.
-Ability to own more houses and businesses

Anything relating to sync is up to the developers of the game modification, not the Argo server.

Against. In VC the Enforcer is the best tool to block runaway crinimals. Should not be limieted as a special vehicle.

-Disable this dieing as civilian and returning as a cop , heres example i die in smuggle i return as a cop to kill others , makes no sense there.
Did the 'no revenge killing'rule die ?
-Remove spawning at airport again and again when dieing as a cop
Spwaning art a police station would b better, but the designers find it to be more challenging that cops need some time to get on duty,kind of an good compromise.
-Repair the yacht sync a little bit atleast
Send a message to Stormeus. He might find a way.

That would make them no more cadets.

those cars are sometimes needed for pursuit when there are no other cruisers and besides nobody gets hurt when a vcpd officer uses swat/fbi vehicles wrongly

more like: temporary copban for a short duration after commiting a crime (/sus shouldn't count imo)

nope, fuel system after a day or 2 will make all cars have 0% fuel and players will just get tired and bored of looking for a car with fuel
this is the same (sort of) reason cars aren't locked when the owner is offline (even if owner locks them)
nobody wants to have 99% of sports cars locked

suppose after a db reset a player and his crew-/clan-mates nolife argo 24/7, after some time they send all their money to one guy and he buys all and there are no more props left to buy

what does that mean? the yacht has 'invisible' textures with no collision but i was told that if you remove them the collisions disappear (from the ship)
if you mean how bullets work when you're on the ship, that's unfixable (vc engine), unless you implement skin shooting like in samp but that would totally ruin vcmp and is up to the developers of vcmp itself
clipping into the ship? there are certain moments ingame when the yacht changes the speed, if you go to certain positions then (like down the stairs i think) there's a chance you'll clip
the construction of the ship itself? afaik axxo and reaper are working on it but imo the best way would be to change yacht to container ship
after all, who uses a yacht for smuggling? (huh klaus?)

Fuel should run out when your driving it not when its parked , plus it will make sense since sometimes it takes forever for criminal to chase , when they are using infernus, theres no way to take them down


I Agree with you krys on the container ship idea , your right who uses a richass yacht for smuggle


if spawning at airport is bug then why not fix it


VCPD Has its own cruisers , what are you talking about? its your responsibility to respawn it after use...

3 happens, bug can't be fully prevented
4 ye but that doesn't always happen and sometimes cruisers are all over town but not in pds and so i dont see a reason to restrict fbi rancher/swat enforcer to their divisions only
who gets hurt if i use an fbi rancher for a pursuit when there is no cruiser available
besides officers need enforcer to restock at the crane when there's a heavy situation, etc. etc.

Did u ever saw a officer of police department using FBI Rancher in real life? no? thats what i thought so plus leaving the pd cruisers like i said before its your responsibility

No? but they think its not ''revenge kiling''
How they find it more challenging? criminals can spawn at house we  cant spawn at our pd?
How that would make the cadets no more? why can freecops in samp have access to all skins?

Actually the Enforcer is a great way to stop an Infernus. Just need to be tactical, get him to drive toward you and then use the hand brake so you get right in front of them.... problem solved.

1. No. The police department and FBI should work together and I do not see a single useful point that could come out of restricting the usage of PD/FBI/SWAT vehicles.
2. We have not disallowed people from going to cop duty if they so wish to do. They still need to follow the rules set for cops.
3. This is a bug and we have been unable to find the cause, but we will keep looking.
4. The yacth is a moving object rather than a vehicle which makes the sync worse (nothing will stop the yacth from moving and it does not have HP points due to it being an object) and we can not help with that. All we can do is to try and make it less noticeable by 1) fixing the yacth textures which are fucked up at times and 2) refine it's movements slightly.
5. No. Additional skins are one of the rewards and incentives to join VCPD and that's exactly how we want to keep it.
6. GTA VC is too small for a proper fuel system, we have discussed this three times overall and everytime we come to the conclusion that it is too much of a hassle that does not provide anything useful to the server.
7. No. We want new players to also have a chance in buying properties and businesses without regulars hoarding all of them just because they play more.

No. This is a known bug in the server that we have been unable to fix so far.

EDIT: Cops are supposed to spawn at the police station they went on-duty at.

It is how we got the professional runners on VC. Called team work, one guy chasing the other predicting where they will turn up  :gand:

Yes If there's Official officers on , today 2 newbie cops were dming each other its not like we dont care and we dont tell them , i always tell new players to read rules and rpghelp but it doesnt work they dont give a fuck.
talking about team work like i said it can be done only when official and experienced cops are online

Just to correct you James, Argonath RPG VC:MP is surrounded by tons of other DM servers and very little "good" roleplay servers. The mentality of the players who join Argonath, for the most part of it, is that it's just another deathmatch server with a different gamemode, or they don't actually know how to roleplay and what it means.

New players especially those who goes cops, more than often don't have the experience in terms of skills and knowledge to actually work together with other more professional cops because of that alone.

We are certainly improving the server and existing scripts to not only make it more RP-friendly, but also cater for both new players as well as existing players. In 3.1 alone, we have added a hugeass windows for the rules and have drastically improved /help and it's related commands.
