Update 4 changelog

Bugs from the game that were fixed (not caused by the mod):
- Fixed minor visual issues on Blista exhausts
- Fixed glitchy Rancher behaviour that prevented it from going over stairs or even small obstacles. It is now working as originally intended by the developers! (not even EFLC had it fixed)

Bugs from the mod that were fixed:
- Fixed minor visual issues on Chavos hood and roof spoiler
- Fixed minor visual issues on Comet Spoiler
- Fixed minor visual issues on Turismo exhausts and middle brakelight

New / updated content for civillians:
- Added 9 new colors, from ID 171 to 179 - dark green/brown and bright blue.
- Updated Comet with more tunes.
- Replaced Turismo race rear bumper + spoiler combo (you guys kept mixing it with other rear bumpers, which you were NOT supposed to do, it's stupid!) with a small spoiler inspired by this beta Turismo picture (https://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/gtawiki/images/1/10/Turismo-GTAIV-AutoEroticar.png/revision/latest?cb=20150905124141).
- Added the Huntley, lots of tunes.
- Added the Vincent, lots of tunes.
- Added the Dukes, not many tunes, but there's a few liveries.
- Updated Rusty Vigero with a new black & white LCPD livery.

New / updated content for law organizations:
- Updated NOOSE Patriot's livery (K-9 Unit).
- Updated LCPD livery for Police Patrol, Police Cruiser and Police Buffalo.
- Added matching black & white livery for the Police Maverick.
- All vehicles' rear windows no longer have the ugly orange lines. They are now black, similar to GTA V.

I had a Infernus mod ready (subtle changes but still pretty nice), however due to the Importing -> Exporting workflow that I use, the doors would always get messed up. Instead of opening normally they go crazy, so that is why I never included it.

What changed? What's new?


New colors, from ID 160 to 166 (blue and purple)

Banshee:
Two new spoilers, one new front splitter and fixes

Coquette:
Two-color paintable wheels, two spoilers, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser,  two new exhausts

Patriot:
Two new liveries, Shark and Military (/livery 2 and 3), rear extras are now matte black, new matte black front bumper and fixes

PMP 600:
Three new interior colors (/livery 1,2,3), paintable chrome trim + mesh grill, paintable wheels, new exhausts, new front and rear bumper extension

Schafter:
Three new interior colors (/livery 1,2,3), inside of headlights paintable, hood emblem sticking out, mesh grill for the front, spoiler

Sultan RS:
Two bodykits from GTA V (front, rear, side skirts), one new big spoiler, paintable wheels

SuperGT:
New front bumper (from F620), angel eyes for the headlights, paintable chrome and wheels, mesh grill on side air "intakes", new exhausts, new rear bumper addition and added license plate

Sabre2 (Rusty):
Two new liveries, Angel and Graffiti (/livery 2 and 3)

FBI, Nstockade, Polpatriot:
Added LCPD & FBI additions to these. You won't see these all of these active just yet - the server will have to update the spawned cars for that. Maybe this weekend!

And a couple fixes for other vehicles such as Comet, Cavalcade, Sultan...



If you never installed it before, don't worry, you don't need to install the previous version.
I will update the topic another day, still need to organize all the screenshots and create guides for extras (hopefully everything done in the weekend)

This is intentional, as you can see some people do this to their cars in real life

But it does seem that this is not very common when they are mounted on the actual shelf, so I will consider changing that in a future update. Thanks for the feedback.

OBJECTION AGAINST THE MOD
Although I love the work done using this mod, I object to it, upsetting players who do not like it, some of the modifications can create unfair handling advantages and not every vehicle, such as the Buffalo is modified well, which is one of the very reasons why people uninstall it. Please, think about it and release a mod that improves this and then people will not have unfair advantages

There is nothing changed with the handling. This mod only modifies the textures and not the actual physics and shape of the vehicle, so it would give no unfair advantage to those who have installed it over those who did not.

True what you said younes, i drove the buff many times and i dont think there is anything diffrent. between, the Rid mod get tested by IV MP staff for sure many times, cause it got an official support.

What an unnecessary drama.
All the new extras on the modified cars do NOT have any collisions or weight parameteres.
They are merely visual - think of it like stickers (except they're 3D).
They don't change the car center of mass, weight, etc. Like the massive wing on the Sultan RS - it only looks big, the collision is still the same as the original spoiler.

As for the photos, dropbox stopped supporting direct links.
This will hopefully be fixed tomorrow, and a new update is also coming.

This update doesn't have as many new things as the one before, but trust me, it is still worth it!

New mod update! I've been busy so it is smaller than the others.

New stuff in it:
Custom Presidente (it can be turned into the Stinger from EFLC)
Custom Vapid Taxi (it can be turned into a civillian car)
And new liveries for NOOSE law vehicles.

Download below. I'll appreciate it if you answer the question(s) so that we have a better idea about who uses the mods and what could be better. But you don't have to answer if you don't want.

Nice! I had no idea it worked with XP (that's ancient).

In other news, there's a new update (3rd one) coming along, with a complete thread makeover.
Mod update (and thread update) will be released in one or two days.

Changelog:
-Small fixes for some minor details in a few vehicles
-New tunes and liveries for Chavos, Sentinel, Turismo and rusty Vigero
-Four new colors: two purples and two silvery blues
-and a few other surprises ;)

Yeah, and it has had three updates so far. This latest update (3) is the second one this year (previous one, Update 2, was in February as far as I remember).

Updated the topic. (Just the topic. No, it's not a new mod release)

Added information on how to uninstall it (below "How to Install").
There has been an uninstaller in the mod since Update 2 but I always forgot to add it to the topic  :rofl:

Also added pictures of the "surprise" cars to the topic since they are not a surprise anymore :D

Regarding all the suggestions.

I've read them, and a lot of them are already on my plans.

Here's the suggested ideas that I like, but I cannot promise 100% that I will do them:

Futo:
-Making the yellow text into a livery so it can be toggled on and off. Then add 2 more variations, one of them might be a initial d parody, but it wont be placed on the top
-Hatchback is a good idea, but this will require a lot of work. No promises, but I like it and want to do this.

Vigero:
-Ability to turn it into a cabriolet/convertible (will take some work)
-Maybe a supercharger (but not poking outside as much as the GTA V ones, or even Dukes. Think of it as a lowered supercharger)

Sabre GT:
-Add some bumper options from V.
-Add a lowered supercharger too.



And now here's other ideas that are already in the making, that will come in the next update (not finished!):
Pictures may be slightly old and/or have some small visual bugs that will be fixed before release

about10pandas requested a new spoiler for Huntley.
Sorry, I didn't create a new spoiler for it (wasn't liking how it turned out), but I did give the Huntley some love:

Sorry but no wraps for these, probably never, because UV mapping cars (in other words, preparing them for full body decals) takes a lot of (different from modelling) work, and I am not experienced on that.

Though basically, it is quite simple, just double click (run) the .exe you downloaded, follow the installer's instructions (find GTA4 location, etc)

If Argonath moves to IV:MP T4 (EFLC) one day, this mod will also move, and who knows, it might even come built in the client. It will probably be even better with some more advanced features too.

However, don't try to install the current version of the mod on EFLC, because that's asking for trouble. If it goes wrong, the Uninstaller might not help in EFLC.

This mod is currently for GTA IV only, EFLC is not supported until I say so!

Now about the mod, Vincent and Comet are fully finished :)
I've also fixed a few tiny visual issues in some of the already modded cars.

Only Huntley and Rebla left.
NOOSE will also get a small livery update.
Vigero Rusty will have a new LCPD livery that matches the black & white cop cars.
LCPD Maverick will get a matching black & white LCPD livery.
A few dark green car colors will be added as well.

I tried adding livery system to Annihilator (so that we could have FBI, NOOSE, Stripe and clean) but sadly it does not work. I've checked and nothing seems wrong so I suspect it is a game limitation.

What about Mazda RX-7 FC3s bodykit for Ruiner? If you cant do it, can you add Popup headlights? (Opened solid headlights, I know you cant do the animating, do it opened solid popup headlights,
 and if your gonna say "I can't set the light animation on the popup headlights", do something like the sentinel's led headlights to the popup headlights.) And carbon hood, and please add a livery deleting "Ruiner" text on the sides.

Awesome mod mate, first time trying it and I’m actually surprised! I ride a NRG900 so only the colors are useful for me, but I still enjoy seeing others peoples cars and the different ways they look. So I wanted to ask if it is possible some day in the future to add something for the NRG900F and for the NRG900RR, maybe new lights for the “F” model would do a great job. Keep it up mate!

When the headlight is turned on, the light's there but the headlight (texture) appears like its not turned on.

I can't provide SS cuz I'm on my phone but u can test it.

Yes, there is a LCPD Buffalo.

Thanks. I am aware of the Banshee bug, it's a material order issue. I am not entirely sure how to fix it yet, but it's on my list.

The Dukes has headlights, unless you mean the covered extra? In that case it is intentional, mimicking the headlight covers on '69 dodge chargers.

This update might take a while as I am busy with other projects (all university related), but I might release a small update that has some fixes and a few new things to keep the players' itches satisfied. Like a 4.5 update, not a complete 5th update, just while all the other new content is being created.

Your launcher seems handy although I haven't yet personally used it (because I test all my cars in SP first)


The actual 5th update is probably gonna be released at the end of this year or beginning of next year, depends on how well another argonath-related project goes. No promises.

Also thanks again for everyone that donated, and thanks for everyone that uses the modification. I haven't yet spent the donations money, but i look forward to :D

It is not really a bug because vehicles in single player are usually randomly generated with different tunes. So your pc just generated RS without certain tunes that ended up looking that way haha

Since installing/uninstalling of this mod takes around 5-10s, maybe you could avoid such troubles if you do that each time you get a desire to play single player? :)

Let's hope the LCPD bike files don't have locked liveries like the Annihilator.
I tried adding livery system to Annihilator (so that we could have FBI, NOOSE, Stripe and clean) but sadly it does not work. I've checked and nothing seems wrong so I suspect it is a game limitation.

Try making custom GTA 5 Duke O' Death tunes for the Dukes

Make a way to remove the Gruppe 6 livery from the Securicars.

Make some tunes for the Roman Taxi and Esperanto.


Make some tunes for the Vigero.

Come up with some Feroci tunes.

Faggio is not covered by the LCC CarMod, it only has in-game tunes.. maybe that one variation?

By default in-game versions, some cars have more tunes.. some have none. Take for example difference between Contender [E109] and Trashmaster [Garbage truck]


The only limitation for this mode at the moment is the /tune system/in-game mechanic that allows only 8 different tuning settings

Did you check other vehicles?

Did you tune your car? Tunes won't be visible unless you have added them..

Also, some vehicles are not covered with this car-mod, which car do you have?

TRU Coquette is not affected by this car-mod. It does not have any new livery on it.. only the tunes that are available to any owned coquette.

As for the FBI, yes, the NOOSE livery should be removed and replaced by single FBI word on the side

Taxi is not affected by the car-mod.. the only thing that changes is that you can buy a taxi and remove all of its livery/tunes to make it look like a civil car.

LCPD AU didn't change at all except going into black and white instead of blue white and that is visible to all of the players regardless of mod or no mod

Unless you screenshot somehow your vehicles and what you can see, we can not help hence it is useless to post further on

Well , there is many Vehicles coming in T4 , I hope the Tampa gets some nice tunes too :D
When I first saw the Tampa , It looked like Frankestien's Vehicle in DeathRace film , Just needs some nice colors and tunes.

The Blista was one of my oldest mods, and I've been meaning to update it for a while because the quality of the current one is questionable at best.

So, here's a teaser of the updated Blista, or at least of what's done so far:

New front splitter (replaces the old one). Not THAT different, but this one is more subtly tuned and well done. Also notice the new mesh grill behind the license plate and fog lights.

People say its "Hard to use," Personally, Didn't use it yet. But I am willing to :p

Update this week. Content not 100% certain, depends on what I get done. Regardless, there will be an update this week.

For the people who installed LCC on EFLC against my own advice not to do so, I recommend uninstalling it as soon as possible and just patiently wait a few more days ;)

@rid Yo since the normal Bati can not be added to the game, is it possible to make normal tunes for the livery one that we currently have. Like to have the mirrors and color customizations. Its such an awesome bike and there is still no mod for a bike  :rage:

Yes, in time.

The IVMP T4 client for EFLC now includes the Liberty City Customs mod, so there's no need to download anything else.

This should also help with the mod popularity and in the future will allow me to make bigger changes.

Light (headlights, tailights, indicators, etc) fixes for the TBOGT vehicles are also included (it was a R* bug).

New stuff coming soon, I know it keeps getting delayed but I have a busy life.

1. No, the files that come with the latest client update will be the latest version of LCC car-mod posted here
2. Yes, no issues what so ever since the car-mod is officially supported by server leadership
3. Yes, no problems performance wise since it is not high poly type of tunning or anything drastic [as in.. "omg my Sentinel became BMW M3" type of drastic]

Just standard vehicles with some additional options that are supported by in-game tunning system [ /tune ID, at vehicle dealerships ]

1. In T4, the /tune order is correct. So instead of 0-8, it is 1-9. It's still the same amount of extras.
Since my topic images are still outdated, the tune list number is off by 1. So to apply a tune 3 from this topic, you have to do tune 4 ingame.
I will update it in a week or so.

2. The images don't show anything on the doors, so it's always in the back.

This week has been all about the Infernus.

The new Infernus stuff is inspired by Super Veloce editions of various Lamborghinis (mostly Murcielago, some Aventador too).
We all know the Infernus rear is from a Pagani Zonda, so I may have some Pagani-styled bits planned for it as well, depends on how it goes (maybe spoiler and/or diffuser).

This is not easy at all, you need to learn 3RD Max courses in order to design parts or even know how to copy/cut them from a car model to another with extreme caution and professionalism. Sometimes you put the parts 1cm away from each other which makes the distance not equal. Anyways, I don't know about liveries, but almost the same thing.

2.the window tint or something like that ( used on sentinel rear window or bullet gt rear window ) + a spoiler + a new exhaust at sides if you can on Sabre GT

3.a spoiler for F620 + Bullet GT as the new cars in ivmp

4.some small customizing for feltzer ( maybe new body kit )

like working to get money ( normally getting paid per 1 month ) , or writing a command ( shortest will take 1second ) .
and i just listed them from old what i need . then writed all here in 1 post instead of few posts ( like a shopping )
and i think you talked about donations .. i will ( if it takes ingame money . in real life , i cant cuz i dont have any credit card in real )
also im a mapper of gta sa . i know what you talking about

I'm not sure how that is possible, I just verified the client and both bati2 and dukes are there

Bati2 uses /livery, dukes uses /tune.
Remember that the tunes list in topic is not correct yet - add 1 to the value that is displayed in the list. So if the list shows tune 8, you use tune 9 ingame.

I got some suggestions for the car Sultan RS which are:

1: Adding LED lights for the head lights and tail lights.

2: New and big rim.

3: Indicator light for the head light "I don't think this one is important hehe"

They would look awesome if they are added beside the other tunes *.*

Well, I want to point out for who ever likes to suggest more tunes/liveries it is your choice. But there is game limitations which cannot allow you to use more than the current tunes ( /tune 1 to /tune 9). Liveries are also limited to 4 liveries per vehicle. [As Wheel said]

You could check that out in game and determine if its possible for Wheel to design them.

Targa Comet.
It has a longer rear windshield compared to the regular Coupe version.
Didn't want to do the side windows as it was a bit too annoying, so I opted for a blacked out detail with Comet badge instead.

Small update is ready. It will come together with the next client update (which should be available soon).
Sorry, no fancy Infernus or Comet yet. These need a few final touches!

Main stuff is in red.

Liberty City Customs changelog:
-Added a mod enabler and disabler, so now you can easily play SP without issues! This works similarly to the mod installer and uninstaller back in T3! They are in the EFLC folder.
-Sabre GT: Added customization (Supercharger, paintable chrome, side exhausts, spoiler, etc)
-Blista Compact: Fixed front lip & grill bugs (more customization later), rim lip is now unpaintable for better realism
-Sentinel: Fixed tiny bugs on custom rear bumper.
-Patriot, Intruder: Rims have now two separate colors (ID 2 and 4)
-Chavos, Huntley, Dukes: Rim lip is now unpaintable for better realism

From previous update, most people don't know about it:
-Cavalcade2: This was replaced with the Modern Cavalcade, as seen in GTA V (made by G.C.T.)
-Rebla: Added customization (curved rear, custom front bumper, exhausts, etc)

-Sentinel and Vincent: Small detail added to the custom headlights (small circles around each projector)
-Small bugfixes in some cars
-Bobcat customization was removed because collision was bugged

I haven't changed anything in the Voodoo so if that bug is really there then it's R* fault. I will fix it once I do tunes for Voodoo (which isn't anytime soon because I have other cars ahead). Thanks for letting me know!

The Infernus is really close to being finished now. Only thing left to do are the LODs (which is gonna be a bit annoying in this one)
You will be able to choose which interior you want by using the /livery command. First one is the original.

yeah maybe . i exactly dont remember the tuning mods added on voodoo by you ( or maybe its not added i dont remember things so well( i will forgot things so fast as 1 year passed  :D))

Just redownload the IVMP T4 client to get it, download here (http://www.iv-mp.eu/).


Liberty City Customs changelog:

oi i went offline june and came in july and downloaded latest update of T4 now infernus back (steel part) is missing except back lights. It look like messed up any fix ?
