Hello,
An incident occurred earlier in which I was /su'd for holding a weapon in public. Fair enough it's a valid crime to be suspected for however at the time I had a bandana covering my face. Here's the catch, how can you identify someone as a suspect when they have a mask on them? /su should be used when a cop can identify you as your face is exposed.
In my particular scenario, I was /su'd by my 'clothing' but I still find that invalid reason to /su me as there can be two people with the same clothes and cars how would you know who is the suspect?
/su, in theory, means the officer has identified the criminal and is on the look out for him but how can you be identified with a mask? /crime [ID] would say <NAME> has been suspected by <NAME> for <reason>. Is this where metagaming comes into play?
Not a moan/complain topic, just want the communities thoughts on this and a final decision by the HQ on how to handle large groups or individuals with masks as I believe I have been /su'd unfairly.

you can be identified coz theres a name above ur head, duh

It's Argonath. It's light RP. You're expecting too much. We have /area and auto-/sus for homicide, no matter how discreet you do it.

Also, this.

Lol! Well, the suggestion is good, but you can explain to the guys participating in a roleplay before they suspect you or after that, using /em.

Light roleplay, no rules (unfortunately) regarding metagaming. I personally don't like it either but some people just prefer to metagame in a roleplay server.

Yes, this is true.
-
So /wear is basically useless.. can we remove /wear for a proper useful script then?
-
some people just have to learn roleplaat

Server has 40 players.
Masked Lucianos come to Angel Pine to settle a score with FLA.
Because FLAs are tactical geniuses and 1 fla = 3 luciano we /area the entire server population other than cops and our allies.
Lucianos show as "Whetstone".
We kill them.
It's pointless at such player base level because /area will always give you.

If we have /area and auto suspection removed, I don't see why not have this one.

It will also be hard to indicate who returns after death and who doesn't as well.

Also, this.
I use to kidnap people and put them in my car. If I want them dead, I park on a bridge/cliff very close to the edge so if he exits he falls off and dies because of the height. I make him exit then.
Not suspected. I work on notoriety if I don't want people to /area me.
The system is quite simple and can be in your favour if you work hard enough for it.
Also, If you want to kill people discreetly, use my tactic or something else.
I sometimes force a guy to sit in the buritto and then push him in the water. I rply double cuff him to the wheel, put metal shields on the windows and push the buritto into the water. He dies from drowning a couple of minutes later. Painful and interesting death. Do I become a suspect? No. Is the guy I wanted to be dead - dead? Yes.
Also, if there is a possibility to use /mask just to cover the name above your head, it would be outstanding. However, refusing to take off a mask when forced to (kidnapped, tied, cuffed etc.) should be against the rules.
That would be very very useful. No blip removal, just the main problem of Argo - names above the head.

It goes like this, if one does it, get an advantage and goes unpunished, I do it as well, thats the mentality of everyone because they are human, put a rule in and watch the world burn.
