Even if you gave your account to somebody else it's your fault as it's your account and you take full responsibilty for all actions made on your account.
Account sharing is not allowed for this exact reason.. You give your friend you account.. Get banned and then go on a ban evasion spree..

Why should we even consider letting you back in the server?

I was new that time. Didn't knew rules very well.
I was going to be inactive so I gave it's access to some else and he used it for ban evading/multi accounting. I now know,respect, obey the rules.
