Hi,
All I wanted to do for nostalgia's sake is to play GTA 4 but the bullshit that comes along with it is fucking crazy. My GPU that I plugged in was not recognising so I had to fiddle with BIOS, clean the ports, remove CMOS battery, update drivers which all took really long. The 13GB download of GTA IV itself took 8 hours (yes, my ISP is partially to blame). Why do you put yourself through this nonsense when you can simply dust off your PS3 (assuming we have atleast one old gen console) and play again?
I've noticed I've smoked 2 packs of cigarettes during this whole process which indicates the longetivity of it in addition to the stress and I am pretty sure in the download stage itself I could of completed the game. I'll say this again, why do you bother with PC gaming?

1. Games are cheaper in most cases.
2. Games can be acquired for free through certain sites.
3. Find it easier to play using mouse and keyboard compared to a chunky controller. (hello Shit Box.)
4. Some multiplayer games offer a larger player count compared to their console variants. (see Battlefield and a few other shooters)
5. A larger selection of games that consoles won't ever get (hey ho steam greenlight games and steam store in general) plus a fair few come out for PC first then develop console versions later on.
6. Far better communication methods for organising team-play games.
7. I don't like discs.
I could go on but this is just off the top of my head, I wouldn't go back to console now.

Simple, You can upgrade PC's whenever you want / have the cash to do so.
PS4 and Xbox commonly offer 30fps on certain games, and it looks like dog turd.
60FPS beats 30 anyday.

To add onto my post, I can easily stream and record with ease, whereas with a console I'd have to buy components to do so.

I use them both so idc xD I play some games on laptop and some games on xbox...and rusty xbox one doesnt necessary need a disc xD I got a lot of games and got them all digitaly activated :p g2a ftw
also atm I cant afford a gaming pc cause I want to buy one :p

The reason i like PC Games, like in Rainbow Six: Siege you can aim better but in console you cant.
Btw...in Steam you can play a game for maxium 2 hours if you're unhappy you can request for refund and get your cash back. So play any game you want for 1-2h and not enjoying then get the cash back.

You can play games, do work or install apps.
You can upgrade it.
You can choose pirated games if you are poor :D

Or you could wait for the reviews to flock in (from reputable sources and the odd steam review) before buying then refunding two hours later because you jumped in head first without prior information about the game (i.e if it performs well, has major bugs or other problems)

Well,another reason why I prefer a pc is cause I don't need 10 consoles to play my preferred choice of games.I wanna play the classic sega games?Boom just load it up on my pc.I wanna play smash bros?Boom just load it up on my pc.I wanna play the classic nfs most wanted?Boom just load it up on my pc.I wanna play witcher 3?Boom just load it up on my pc.
After all of that I can just start surfing the net on my pc.It's literally an all in one machine.

Free multiplayer, you can play anything you want with any friend of yours with Hamachi or Tunngle. (Yes I still play AoE/Empire Earth)
Communication seperate to gaming, I am not forced to listen 12 year old shouting and raging on my speakers when they loose :lol: (Xbox hi)
Instead I can team up via Skype, TS or whatever communication platform I want even when I am NOT gaming.
Mods. The painless advantage of playing older games and keeping interest. (EX; GTA Series, Skyrim, Minecraft)
No extra money for piracy, I don't need to pay to chip anything in order to play copied discs or get in the trouble to install loaders so I can run back-ups etc. Unlike consoles I can pirate any game and see if it runs good, if it does of course I will support the devs and buy it. (Steam Refunds nonono gaben you no take ma money again :rolleyes: :rolleyes:)
As Rusty also mentioned I am not limited to using only the console controller.
And last but not least I don't need to buy a new console whenever a new games is not ported on it.. I can just spend few bucks to upgrade something and play even more games :D

PS4 and Xbox one sucks all-time..Pc Games are better than the consoles, You can buy games in the online itself (steam) for PC's, but consoles dosen't :lol: Always prefer PC Games

Because a keyboard and a mouse is easier to use and besides gaming you can surf the internet and do other stuff which you cant on a console. You can get your favorite game for free if you want to also.
