Title: Liberty State against Anto Capobastone  (cassation)
Post by: Anto17 on March 30, 2017, 06:16:49 pm
Honorable judge/s,
After reading the verdict on the previous appeal by LCPD against me Anto_Capobastone,
confronting it with such similary cases, i agree with the verdict, but theres a further explanation.
I agree with acts: 93, 94 and 101, that are proven as the verdict claims.
Quote
Act 93
Any driver shall abide speed limits of 80 km/h on single-lane road and 120 km/h on the highway.
Quote
Act 94
Right side - Driving on the right side of the road is mandatory.
Quote
Act 101
Overtaking - Overtaking on a regular road is permitted as long as it do respect the speed limits, does not represent a risk to others and is not done in a successive way with several other overtaking by the same driver
So,
I belive i made clear that I apologize to police and to Liberty City citizens for making the streets more Dangerous
However I want discuss only about the 1st point of the verdict:
Quote
1. Anto Capobastone has to pay a fine of 7000$ to the LCPD. If this is not done within 14 days, this fine will be doubled (14000$) and will be deducted automaticly
I am asking the lowering of the ammount to pay as fine as my economic conditions ain't the best around, its a hard time to make money , i feel that sum of 7000$ to high and ask to lower it to at least 5000$.

SUBJECT: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Honorable Judge,

As stated above by the defendant, they claimed to have apologised to the LCPD and LC Citizens. However, we have never received a public apology from the defendant. Therefor, we are assuming that the defendant is trying to lower the verdict with an ungrounded reason. If the defendant is willing to publicy apologise for their actions, the LCPD would ask the jury and judge to lower the fine to $6.000 Argonath Dollars.

Signed,

Emily Sanderson
LCPD Chief of Police
N.O.O.S.E. Commander

We, as the court, have made a verdict that the defendant has to pay 7000 ARD. If the LCPD is willing to accept less than 7000, then that is up to the LCPD.
