Hello my name is Bojan.
Everyone wonders, Does admins love their job?
Im just curious, how much time takes one admin to reply or open some topics.
Some players want suggestion, some players want support, some players want unban, some players want answer.
Well im just curious to know how can admins, reply on " No sense of topic "
And then dont have time for suggestions, or other things. Every player wonders What it takes to be an admin, and is it hard to be an admin,thats why i ask this question.
Dont ban me for my question please.
This is nothing to do with me.
Explain in the " Reply " How do you feel about our admins, and also every admin can say what they feel about their job.
Thanks for reading this topic, i hope the guys that ask this question,soon will see this and get their answer. And see that its hard to be admin, server and ingame because some people dont apreciate their work. We have the best admins!!!

Hello it takes at least 24 hours for admin to reply to one topic, I also wonder, what does it take for one to become an admin? Well I don't know but maybe someone knows, @Stivi do you know?
I explain in the reply that I feel good about our admins they are good people but sometimes they are bad because maybe they are bad people but they are good eventho they are bad sometimes, but that's what makes them good, right?

If some one thinks they dont work enough, try applying for admin, it will take you days + You will quit from being admin in 24 Hours. Its not easy job :)

Hey, Bojan! In a way, you are right. I would say that a reply depends on the topic. It can take from a minute to an hour and from an hour to even one week. Some admins rarely come to the forums, overs just spend a lot of time on more topics at once. Others need to get more opinions, especially on serious topics like the unban ones, in order to make the best decision as possible. Anyways, a part of my answer is based on assumptions or some observations, so, please correct me if I'm wrong. :D Anyways, probably some admins do spend time on those nonsensical topics, as you said

Hey, Bojan! In a way, you are right. I would say that a reply depends on the topic. It can take from a minute to an hour and from an hour to even one week. Some admins rarely come to the forums, overs just spend a lot of time on more topics at once. You are correct in one way.
Exapmle:
For Suggestion admin it takes him month to reply.
For Unban request it takes him 2 weeks to reply.
For " Server fall down lol " 1 sec.
For Other stuff that is not important takes them 1 min.
I know they want to make best decision as possible.
I know i dont ask for Suggestion,Unban,Business,Or other topics to be seen by admins, but some people ask me if i can do this Q&A.

Admins have nothing to do with script suggestions. Thats for developers to handle and we currently lack them. On the other hand, at least from my perspective, your colorful topics make it look like you are a 6 year old. That's why i didn't read this or your suggestion topic.

Admins have nothing to do with script suggestions. Thats for developers to handle and we currently lack them. On the other hand, at least from my perspective, your colorful topics make it look like you are a 6 year old. That's why i didn't read this or your suggestion topic.

Now, returning to the point that started the whole topic. How much time does it usually take an admin to reply to a topic and why do they not reply to some topics? Probably it has been answered earlier in this topic and on others, but, I think it is nice to explain to everyone who asks why and how much time does it take an admin to make an important decision, like looking at an unban request or at a game-changing script suggestion for one of the games that have an Argonath server.

Yes they are doing hard work, but some admins are online and dont do anything...

Admins do all the hard work and the important stuff. I know they are respected enought from my point.
But some admins login in server, and review some topics, that are not important and logout.
You cant post other unban request, or any pm to the admin Because they will not see it if they are busy.
Can admin spend 10 minutes for:
New Suggestions
Unban requests
General talks
Main topics...
My point is that, some admins deserve to be admins, but some just want to chill and review some "Not important" topics, just to lose their time in waiting.

But i know some admin/s that is/are (not) doing their work properly.
For example:
1 ban set for review at 1/1/2017.
Admin dont respond on 10/1/2017
How can we let the admin know, what to do next.
Or did the admin already forgot?

They are busy, they have more time to think for the decision.
They are cool and respectfull people.

They do check suggestions but dont comment on useless ones.
We are always in game supporting players with our best.

just be patient if they don't specify a certain date then be sure its less than 2 months or so , if you get review date its even worse, so just be patient.

Admins aren't really the ones to send script suggestions to if you have any, developers are the people you want for that. However an admin could probably forward your suggestion (if it's good) directly to developers, and vouch for it based on their experience.
Generally, admins are more focused on enforcing the rules in game and 'maintaining the peace,' which often takes up a lot of our attention due to the amount of hostility between players and the constant influx of trolls needing to be removed. However, there are many experienced members of the admin team who will answer your questions if you have them.

Managers or whoever tracks the unban section have many many more forums to review or visit prior to that.. Things used to be different some time ago, whereas people were allowed to comment on unban requests (which was mostly done by haters or friends spamming good luck just ti bump the unban req.) Keep in mind that staff members are not robots. Just like you and me, everyone has real life responsibilities and priorities. Perhaps if ban or reports were commumity handled or via system there would be no player playing today :lol:

This is pretty much spot on.
Indeed, managers cannot be always be perfect. Typically our managers are adults with real life responsibilities, and have to balance them between the large amount of responsibilities being a manager here entitles. As much as players and even admins sometimes would like them to be able to give the server their full attention 20 hours out of a day to do car resets or do log checks for to confirm every fart, it's just simply impossible.

Wow, that's um.. Colorful. :lol:
Regarding what you've said above, I'm sure all of the our staff will agree with me in saying that it can be quite frustrating to be an admin at times but it's also a very fun experience. We really do try our best to help out every player that we can but sometimes people do get lost in the mix of everything that's going on which can be annoying for both sides.
As far as script suggestions go we really don't have any say in what does or doesn't get added to the server, we're only there to help players out and enforce the rules. Unban requests aren't handled by administration, we can reply to the topic and add our opinion but ultimately the decision of who gets unbanned and who doesn't falls to our managers.
