Title: [IVMP]Adding vehicle trading in /trade
Post by: ahmedXD on March 31, 2017, 06:28:25 pm
So some people are afraid to trade when it comes to large amounts of money for a vehicle.
They often take screenshots or video in case anything unexpected happens.
Most of the times it has to go to court and unnecessary procedures just for something very simple.
so I suggest adding vehicle to trading
the cmd will be
for the seller
/trade vehicle [id]

The buyer will use
/trade money [id] [amount]

it will eventually update the trading to
SellerName trade VehicleName BuyerName AmountOfmoney

Then both buyer and seller should /accepttrade to have the seller get his money safely and the buyer gets his car transfered.
if you are asking /transfervehicle [ID] is there why use this method ?
Because some players feel uncomfortable dealing with scamming/trolling sellers and don't want to experience the struggle to go to court and file a case then get their money after a long period of time.
So they would normally reconsider when doing any tradings with large amount of money involved.

This simple suggestion can make life easier

Tell me what do you guys think! Should we have this command added to game or not ?

This suggestion sounds nice, but I don't know if it is really good to implement it just to have another option of the /trade command. But it sounds like we will get rid of a command, probably. In short, I support this.

Dunno.. that sounds like a clear scam, and what do we do with scams? We deal with them with administration, not with court :P

Scamming is part of RP, yes it can be dealt with administrations, but a simple possible command can satisfy everyone.

Scamming has never been merged with Roleplay-ing. Scamming in argonath is definitely and completely Prohibited in all cases and should be dealt immediately by administrators. No matter what is the situation. Only if the victim accepts to roleplay the situation.

Well to be honest scams over drug deals, that are RPed dont fall under admin cases unless it has some extreme price or amount.

In samp its allowed to scam people , yes we are light RP in IV, but still some players may scam , they get banned or even worse if you will need photo/video proof.
And send it to forum PMs.
Why do you like to get yourself in the situation in first place, if actually trading money for vehicle ownerships card and keys (VehicleName) can simply be possible?
We people refuse to look into bright future and simply live in the past, in the shadow.
There is an idea for you to come up to the light, then its time to leave your shadow.

When you have a vehicle loaded from the garage, I think this /trade vehicle [carid] wouldn't be a problem instead of /transfer vehicle.
