This was brought up so I ask here. This time there would not be an increase in RHL time or money paid when surrendered/killed but merely and aesthetic change to let everyone know how cool you are.
The higher the respect the darker the orange.

Criminals should defer from quality of RP not name color, not supported.
The good criminals get put in same basket as the rest just because they have a dark orange name, really frustrating especially when there is a argument police vs criminal and all who are dark orange are considered equal, better that wanted name is same for all.
EDIT: Also criminals should avoid getting suspected not aiming towards it in order to show off.

Cool to have it back , but lets say the server has 1 officer. and there are 2 suspects.
most probably if one is dark orange and the other is normal color, the officer will go after the easier one.
Same thing happens (not judging officers, but from what I have seen over the years) Less ranked officers will go after easier ones = lighter orange than chase after the darker one.
its not the case everytime, but if there is 1 dark orange criminal and 1 officer or 2, most probably he is experienced in escaping , therefore officer won't bother going after him.
However, it can bring more team work to law enforcement in categorizing tasks , for eg: fbi and noose work together in a circumstance of multiple criminals to go after higher ranked criminals and leave normal ones to LCPD freecops.
Edit: I think we should have it, back when it was implemented we used to RP way much better knowing that higher ranked officers will definitely not refuse a good roleplay. for eg: a wounded criminal taken to hospital , after he has recovered he will be taken to jail medical centre.
(Aesthetic color can show better Roleplaying players than normal ones, even the officers will know that he/she may not trick them if he/she roleplays /me (surrendering actions) and he won't manipulate the situation and escape )

Supported. Increases Roleplay and makes things more Realistic. LEOs will be mainely focusing on the Highly respected Criminals ( Dark Orange ) Instead of focusing much on the Normal citizens who rarely when get the Orange color. This will make LEOs be carefull on the Dark orange criminals, get organizations to make a tactical plans to shut these criminals...etc

How exactly would you decide who is dark-orange and who light one?
I would not agree on the respect rating as the current respect is only generated through cash rather than displaying any type of roleplay or skill haha

Right. Better to make it deciding through a Commanding systeme which will requires players to command each others after every RP made, Every one command will give +5 points or something. Not sure this is will be the best but It was a suggestion.
Atleast let's bring back this feature as it is and then we may discuss about the deciding thingy later on. We need this.

I don't think that new players(less than 1 month) being suspected can /sellweed more than 10-30kg , considering that they were regular lets say fast learners.
and old players who were doing drug trafficking for a long while 1-2 months after RS2.0
Those player who did drug trafficking atleast 1 time they got caught , or even know how to Roleplay and expect the outcome of the pullover or the suspection.
So ultimately they should take one a challenge as Hernandez said, they will be merely more focused on.
Whereas to newer players who might even not notice that there are suspected in the first place , to be dealt with freecops or anyone , but not with raising high alarms of a dangerous criminal(yes if you are doing drugs you are dangerous, you don't have to kill anyone haha)
I'd like to finish off by saying if the outcome is negatively impacted on criminals , due to raising more heat and profile. then atleast raise their profit by 1% so its more convincing to these certain players.

The main thing should be roleplay, not cash..
Go fishing if ya want more money q.q

I don't know if we should bring back the dark orange colour or make it more challenging and remove orange blips and implement a sort of MDC thingy, like in SA:MP. But, yeah, the main thing should be roleplay skills.

I have heard from some players that they simply gave up on achieving respect level past 2 because it was so time consuming and they did not have the patience.
Those who were willing to spend the time to do that maybe deserve something in return?
In response to a few comments, experienced cops know who is experienced and who is not. A color change will not make them decide who to go after, they will decide that for themselves. However a new cop or new player on duty might be more comfortable going after a less experienced criminal as well.
All server rules will still apply, I don't think anyone will be DMing just to show off their dark orange name. It wasn't a problem before, in fact before players were requesting a respect reset because of all the headaches that came with it, this time we would offer it without the extra burdens.

The old weed system was more fun, for me atleast. U had to be lvl 50 or more to achieve the higher status. Now its just 3 lvls and its not really as fun as before. I would suggest improving the system more than just putting dark orange.

Yea! I want it

Supported.

Well, I think this is a good idea. There is one problem though. Say a new criminal or criminal organization (such as BG) want that level of respect. How can we ensure they will keep to crime without going so far into crime as to find their crimes are then classified as cop baiting. Although Supported, I think we should find a way to ensure copbaiting doesn't go too far out of hand to get dark orange, because some players may abuse it.

Yeah boiii , dark orange was so cool :cowboy:

What is it's purpose?

I would rather like to see a system where somehow [not sure how at this moment], the police is the one that gives/attaches dark-orange to you and not some spamming mechanic.
So the police should be the one to add dark-orange to you.. if whatever terms are met.
Dark-orange there being the "higher threat - higher reward [criminals] - higher penalty [criminals]" type of thing.
Police should still keep the same reward as earlier on, but with a system like this, they could mark the individual as "wanted" in order to ensure it is captured.
Maybe with this, if a player gets marked [due to evidence police has], there would be another type of server mechanic that would increase the chances of getting caught [suspected] by the system automatically?

I am not a lot experienced with crime life, But I did hear that respect is no longer profitable as It used to be back in 2014-2016. Therefore, many players wouldn't care about the respect system any longer as It doesn't give any advantage. No one can deny that most of the people love showing off, And a different color that shows: you got a high respect is worthy for this.

Supported dark orange shall be brought back :app:
-
Supported It will help criminals establish reputation if they are in crime families. But there should also be a way to reduce the criminal respect also.

Back then, a criminal used to gain respect when you evaded from the cops.
