To enter to the contest, simply post your screenshot in this topic with a title for the picture itself or a small description for it.
Entries that will be accepted have to be between two of the posts that signal the beginning and the end of the weekly contest.
I will try my best to start the contest always on the same day: Friday! [Random hour, when I enter the forum]
And the contest will run to the Thursday next week! On the next Friday, winner of previous contest is announced and a new weekly contest begins!
To help you out a bit with shooting photos, here are some tips for creating some fancy schmancy screenshots!

In the video description, you will also find the links for a mod that removes all player indicators in-game, namely:
player names
blips [circle]
player indicators [arrow above the player]
in-game chatTo install the mod, simply extract the files into the GTA 4 folder.
When you want to remove it, paste the backup files over it.
I've made two exe files ( modified & default ) for those who are interested in disabling/enabling Chat,playername without wasting time. To install the modified or either the default files simply run the .exe and Install it in IV Directory (It will pick the directory automatically ). HUD can be turned off via in-game options, I did not include it in the mod itself. C:
After you install the mod, you will see something similar to the pictures below.

As for the taking screenshots part, you can either use some of the softwares like Spark, DxTory, NVidia`s Shadowplay.. or you could try to hit F10 while in-game, then find your screenshot in GTA4>IV:MP folder. The first time you see it, it will be blank, open it with Microsoft Paint and it should show the picture!
Although I didn't test it myself, I just know some of them did it like that :P

Bringing back old pictures from the archive doesn't require that efforts to be rewarded for it, Therefore, Putting participators in a certain specific theme would let this contest be more challenging and let everyone work hard to take a picture. Not just look through the old pictures, choose a funny one, upload and win the contest. Each week there should be a theme to work with,shot within that theme and post here.

Actually you don't need to keep switching between high and low settings, Just use your imagination and make something beautiful, all SSs won't be considered by the graphics, Instead by how original the idea of the screenshot is.

The idea Mr. Theend displayed us is showing some of the core features of our lovely IV:MP
Firstly, that would be the buggy textures that allow you to stand on the invisible ledges with no risk of losing your life.
The whole thing is even more interesting with the angle of the shot he took. Fantastic illusion!
Small details he paid attention to, such as the title of the fireman suit saying "CHIEF"..
..and carefully centering his character onto the surface of the streets down under just add to the whole effect

Hi, after I watched film Pulp Fiction and became a fan of Quentin Tarantino a little bit. And as we got such theme of week I got an idea to show some creativity and tell about me. Hope you, honorable Judge remember that scene :) (as you stated you`ve seen that movie). Me and friends tried to get as closer to film room and clothes as possible, also I used full citation of Jules from the movie.

The call was tough, but we must cheer up our officer a bit, no? Just a joke, smile officer, smile.
This is displaying the one moment officer keeps as a dot of light that keeps him going forward.
The balance between the left and right side is adding up to the weight that he carries.
Void of depression from the left side and chaotic city full of life on the right.
Horizontal lines of the fence and cruiser that lead to the officer are matching perfectly to the verticals of the city skyscrapers.
Even the lighting complements the story as it can be both, sunrise for the new citizen of LC (?) or sunset for our depressed officer (don't kill yourself pls lol).

The angle is nice, but, unfortunately, you either used an effect to make the picture look messy or you simply don't play at higher resolutions. Unfortunately, compression on photo hosting sites helps into ruining photos, especially screenshots and gameplay footage.

Semi, Is that picture from T3 or is it T4, Because I was trying to get the font "Tahoma" to look like just T3 when it was more better, but unfortunately I didn't find a way.
