Title: Random Jobs

i think the random jobs like in old SA scripts (popularly known as "mole missions") should be included in vcmp.

There is a corrupt politician, who wants to overthrow democracy by radical methods. He organises Terrorist events and offers players money to do such jobs
U will get a call from the politician
pm>> Need quick cash?? A job awaits you!! Type '/c accept' or '/c decline'  (i think /c is used in vcmp as /msg is in MTA

all players will get the call a the same time
when u type /c accept one of the following job is given to u at random.

1. Rob bank

pm>> " Go to the National Bank and empty its safe"
u will have to go to the bank and the first person to reach there and types !robbank will be suspected with 2wice the bounty of a cop-killer(watever it is)
if any1 types !robbank after that there will be no effect.
>>" All units ATTENTION! <nick> is Robbing the bank
u will have to stay in bank alive for next 5 mins
pm>> "Good job. Your reward is $5000 "

2. Burn a Govt. building
pm>> " Go to _______________ and set it to flames "
You will be given any building in Random like   VCPD hq, bank, malibu, docks warehouse  and many more...
go to that building and type !burn
>> "All units ATTENTION! <nick> is trying to destroy a Public place(____)"
bounty 2wice a cop killa
stay in the place for next 5 min alive (it can take 5 mins to burn alarge place)
pm>> "Good job. Your reward is $5000 "

3. Hack the Security program
pm>> " Go to the VCPD Washington HQ, and plant the virus in Central Intelligence PC"
you will have to go to VCPD hq and type !hack
>> "All Units ATTENTION! <nick> is trying to hack Security Program"
administer over the program for next 5 mins (of course alive!)
pm>> "Good job. Your reward is $5000 "

yea the idea is cool, but I prefer things that involve the multiplayer part :neutral:

I disagree with this. You could easly cheat and wait till no one was online and do it over and over again. Soon after half an hour you'll have like 50k.

this jobs should always have a success rate no bigger than 70%, like the bank robbery in MTA.
Otherwise, people would just abuse it when the were no1 on server.

yes, thats true
it used to happen in old SA server...

i forgot to type about the scheduling of missions....  :conf:

                            A =  50/n minutes
where,   n= number of players on the server
            A= Minutes after which the next phone call will occur

the value of 'n' will be checked after every mole mission ends
suppose there  is only 1 player on the server,
then the next phone call comes after 50 minutes
if 10 players are present then A=5 minutes
and so on... A varies with the number of players
so it will depend upon no. of players on theserver, and the scheduling will be done accordingly
so if more players r present on the server the missions happen more frequently

when more players are present on the server there will be more cops so success rate will be less

60 minutes = 1 hour, so why not make it 60/n?  :lol:

OK, now to be serious. I reckon this random job or "mole mission"  should be for the magic mushrooms thing. Read my thread "Drug system like in SAMP" about the magic mushrooms (Look down the page). Instead of getting money as a reward, you get magic mushrooms. You can consume the magic mushrooms to get random effects, one of them can be "The mushrooms transforms into $50, yay". The only time limit you need is the time between when you can do the mission.

I don't know if this is a better idea. Daddy's one seems good too. But let's see what other's opinion is 1st.

actually this magic mushroom idea appears to me like a fairy tale  :)
i dont like magic and also mushroom....unless there is some reference from real life to it, so that it makes some sense

i like the idea (trobby's)...but we can change the words like "mushroom" , "magic" and "professor"
to provide a better explanation as for Why does this happen? Why the (professor) gives u such job? Why do u need a mushroom? Who is this (professor) ?

here is an example: (i dont actually like it, i am fine with direct receiving of cash)

when u complete the mission for the politician, he takes out a plain A4 sheet and stamps his signature at the bottom of it... :)

then u can write any crap on the sheet and give it to any1 and get ur task done

I actually agree. Random names like "magic mushrooms" shouldn't be used in the server. There should be a more realistic name, to make the these ideas sound like it's all real life.

This sheet doesn't seem to contradict to the "magic mushroom" idea. Try suggesting an idea which is very similar to the magic mushrooms. Note that in the game, magic mushrooms are in the drug inventory and are similar to them.

Magic mushrooms are mushrooms that make you high. IRL too.

here in holland they cal drugs mushrooms (Paddo's) :lol: maybe same in other lands but i dunno :razz:

Just googled "Magic mushrooms", it's a drug called "Psilocybin" which alter senses and perception of the person.  :lol:

It's a good idea to script the magic mushrooms with the expert who asks you to do a job before he picks the mushrooms for you. It's a different method to collect drugs, which makes the larger variations of what you can do in the server.
