This has happened to me before. The problem is that sometimes when I am doing random stuff on my PC, it makes aclicking noise and stops working, a complete freeze. The clicking noise goes on with a 2 second period between each click. In the past, I used to take out all my components out, cleaned them up and put them back and they usually worked again. I think the problem is with the Hard drive as I think it's the source of the clicking noise. Any ideas?

Have you looked at the coolers if they are working properly? I had a similar issue (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?topic=119455.0) with my PC, when the fan of the GPU stopped working (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/index.php?topic=119455.msg1873705#msg1873705) and I couldn't play any game because the screen would turn black.
Anyway, I would suggest opening up the PC shell and looking at all the components and how they act. Also, it would be nice if you could backup all the data you can, like Matt said.

Proceeding on with the backup. I'll try to see if it can be fixed, If not, I'll get a new one.
