Hello,
Lately there is this typical thing which players are doing while being suspected and doing smuggle or just doing anything to the police force to get wanted status, so they can have fun and action against police force in armed groups or either having non suspected friends with them which are just waiting for the right moment to shoot the cop in the back while is he having his focus to the wanted ones.
There is a little difference between roleplay situations and just dm situation, when you receive wanted status you are supposed to create a rp situation, like making a blockade or anything more interesting for the police force to use megaphones and hide behind the vehicles to have a possibility to make a discussion first of all, not just rushing to police officers more faster than we can get to you, right after you see them in the radar or nearby, that is just cop hunt, which use to be bannable, i dont know what happened to that rule. It is typical that players are rushing around police force and just shooting officers down, no wonder why police force is weak (in my opinion), we know that all of this roleplay police force is a big thing, without it everything else is useless, start respecting police force and do something more than shooting in the server, which many players do. Police will not shoot instantly if we see that player is up to some roleplay (at least), i can't guarantee for every free cop to do the same (it's always been a problem with them). I hope some of my colleagues will agree with me, which understand this situation clearcly, so i don't have to fight against this alone.

That's why i left Police vs criminal RP. And actually i avoid all RP with mafia.

It seems this problem somehow have been ignored even at that time, if you couldn't do anything and fight against it as more powerful and known player, then some people blindly ignore this problem or just don't want to do anything about it?
-
People used to such situations, so everyone thinks that is normal RP.

This is a subject to discuss in SA:MP as well. Roleplaying is not considering that it's just a game and die or kill. You're supposed to care for your own in game life.. make it realistic. This thing should be discussed community wide, players need to understand what is roleplay.

If you enter a hotzone with gazillion criminals and expect to walk up to them with your colt out, you're going to get shot.
Use more clever positioning to utilize the megaphone instead of trying to walk up the street thinking criminals won't think of you as a threat.
EDIT: Topic moved to VC:MP General since this is more so a discussion topic related to certain situations rather than a script related idea.

This most certainly is a problem, and, unfortunately, way too often caused by regular players who should know better.
It seems that VC:MP's idea of RP has shifted to provoking police into suspecting them by any means necessary. To be honest I don't suspect such people on purpose and instruct officers under my command not to either. Therefore, ARPD officers are jackpot for such "roleplayers"

That's the most simplest example of a situation you mention, it does not matter if criminals just rush to you faster than you could and even follow as you try to drive away from the hot point, that does not solve anything. Maybe the problem is the view of criminals not from police side.

Cop baiting is still not allowed, if that's what you're asking. If you feel someone is DMing/cop baiting then take screenshots and send to [email protected]
A lot of cops however take criminals for granted and expect criminals to give them several warnings before shooting. We all know this isn't how it goes down. If you're a police officer heading into a dangerous location (havana, prawn, etc) where a lot of gang members are then you should be on your toes constantly and expect outsiders to attack. Like Kessu has mentioned, you should be more tactically aware of situations escalating especially when it's well known criminal groups like VU, EAF, and NAR etc.
An example would be a cop rushing into Havana trying to kill Gomiro. Don't expect me to just stand there and wait until you realise I'm there before I kill you. It's not copbaiting nor DM, it's just a lack of awareness by cops.
However, an example of cop baiting would be if I were to just walk up to a cop and punch, ram, or shoot him for no reason other than "I want to get wanted" or "I'm a crim lolol". If someone does this then by all means report them to the administration and they'll be swiftly dealt with I assure you.
In relation to something else you mentioned. When you receive a wanted status there is no rule that prevents a criminal from shooting on sight at cops. It's their choice how they wish to interact with cops. Some people prefer to just kill the cop and evade, some prefer to try and talk their way out of it with a bribe or something. Both are completely allowed.
That's all I'll say for now, but feel free to ask any questions.

Cop hunting in addition to cop baiting is also not allowed, so a criminal is not allowed to start chasing the cops unless engaged.
As Klaus said, if you feel like these sort of rules are being broken, use /report ingame if admins are online or take video/screenshots and send them to the email [email protected].
Reports sent there are seen within 24 hours.
