I. Using the radio for the first time

First of all you must buy the radio, there are 4 electronics shops in San Andreas.

Shop #1 - Los Santos: North of the LS tuning garage
Shop #2 - Los Santos: North of unity station (LS train station)
Shop #3 - San Fierro: Zeros RC
Shop #4 - Las Venturas: East Las Venturas - Big shopping mall

When you get into the shop, type /buyradio to buy a radio (Price: 500$). When you have bought a radio, you must turn on the radio by using /cbradio on (cb means citizen band). After that you must join a channel, there are 9999 channels ranging from 1 to 9999. To join a channel, you should use the command /joinchannel [channel number]. You are now connected to the channel you chose, to speak you must use the command /cb [text].
If you need help at any time, use /cbinfo.

II. More functions (advanced users)

After you've successfully connected and started using the radio, you should know that there are 2 more functions, they were not included in the first chapter.

/cbUsers - Shows the users on the current channel
/cbmode - Use this command to switch between phone/chat mode and command mode.
phone/chat mode - radio works like a phone
command mode - radio works with /cb [text]

III. Reference

/cbradio [on|off] - turn the radio on/off.
/joinchannel [channel ] - join the specified channel.
/cb [text] - send a message to the channel.
/cbmode - toggle the mode between chat/command.
/cbusers - show the users on the current channel.

An in game reference is also available by typing /cbhelp.

IV. Troubleshooting

Please report any you find bugs on this topic.

Known bugs:

None at the moment.

Over and out,

Best command - ever.

Xcasio, this is like a /family chat - its the BEST!
Also

Is it possible to 'register' a channel, so that a certain person(or persons) can moderate it, quite like Ventrilo - you can have admins - kick/ban people from channels.
Just incase flooders and constant lurkers coming into the channel

Cause i wanted to register a channel for my clan

Not at the moment.

If you keep your channel a secret from non-members no one will come in :)

I wonder what CBFASI means..  I know that his job is related to radios.. :poke:

Edited, removed my doublepost..

I has a question ^^

When you log out of the server, The cbradio keeps saved too, so you do not have to buy it again??

Btw, Xcasio, Your radio system is PWNAGE!

Also,

I am gonna make a Argonath News Channel :), In there you can listen the Argonath RPG's news, That are from ALL the servers (SAMP, MTAVC and VCMP), You can listen all the news, Whats going on the Argonath World, What just happened, Etc...

I will think in some ideas for making this channel

For now, Channel will be #1100, But It will not be yet in use... I will make a topic and stuff, It will be GREAT :D

Perhaps there could be a "/hidechannel" command. So the channel disappears if users are in it on "/cbusers". Ofcourse, for using the "/hidechannel" the channel must be empty (only you in it). Because this way, the mafias will get a chance to talk to eachother without being spyed on by other mafias or cops.

Perhaps this would be a good addition. Tell me what you think. ;)

And how would you do that in real life? On the other hand, you can't really do /cbusers in real life either...

I'm thinking about making some special channel range which would be encrypted, but I'm still just thinking... :)

well if you would have gone with my Idea of using a sorta satellite internet type based Super radio thingy instead of CB, that would solve the problems of viewing users :D and maybe even putting passwords? :O
