| (https://i.imgur.com/nOMp7pv.png) | “Sometimes bad things lead to good.” A year ago, when the judge sentenced the former boss of the family to about thirty years in prison on trafficking charges, Ambrogio thought it was all over. Little did he know the doors, of becoming the don of one of the most powerful families in Venturas, would open for him. With the same courage that his old man had, Ambrogio managed to set up his crew and seize the role of the boss with force.
Before having his hand in everyone’s pocket in Venturas, Ambrogio made his living by running a gentlemen’s club. Since adult entertainment is a Venturas essential, Ambrogio made quite some paper compared to other members of the family who stole and scammed to re-sell items for higher prices. Ambrogios’ assets got him recognized as a good earner in the family. While the other members were out in the scene focusing on staying out of law’s sight while doing dirty work, he was busy keeping his business clean and free from suspicious activity. Being a good earner has its benefits and risks. While Ambrogios’ front was bringing in a lot of cash, the boss was happy but the other members envied his success and wanted him out of the scene.
After the boss was sentenced, Ambrogio collected his best men. He no longer had the same protection for himself or his front that he had while the boss was around. The capos were greedy and wanted to rule the family, which ran most of Venturas. Suggested by one of his soldiers Rodrigo, who would handle security issues and “competition” for the club suggested that Ambrogio goes into hiding while the chaos reduces. After arguments and a lot of convincing, Ambrogio was sent to live in a motel outside of Venturas. The club was closed due to “renovation” and his men were out to keep an eye.
While the capos were coming to no agreement on who would become the boss, the family was drastically dropping in number due to the huge amount of killings. Not only did it cause the loss of many men, but also attracted police attention. The ones, who lived, were arrested and found guilty of possession or homicide. When it was all coming to an end, Rodrigo planned to take down the remaining members and make way for Ambrogio’s crew. While the other two out of three capos had either fled the scene or been killed; only one left was James, who had major strings in the police department and was using them to his advantage. At this point, both capos knew the war had to stop and an agreement had to be made.
Ambrogio came out of hiding and came to an agreement with James that an inter-family election would be held, and the one with majority votes would be accepted as the new boss of the family. While James had lost most of his men fighting the other capos before, Ambrogio won due to majority vote and was accepted as the new boss. While James was allowed to keep his place as a capo, Rodrigo was also pushed up in the family hierarchy and made into a capo because of his support for Ambrogio.
New recruitments were brought in through Rodrigo, and James had managed to buy the Visage off a person who had lost most of his cash due to a high stakes game held by the family. Unable to pay his debts, the family snatched the casino from him. | (https://i.imgur.com/nOMp7pv.png) |
