Congratulations! :app:
Interesting
What are the criteria to be a helper? Can we go back to the days where helper was just helper and not a position below moderator? I have nothing against the wave, but we're getting helpers the same way we got moderators and we aren't getting any new players???
#HelperSquad Thanks and Congratz to all those selected. ;)
We do have new players.. but some of the regulars do not treat them as they're supposed to be treated so they just leave.YEAH!!!!! I mean, YEAH BRO *fistbump*!!
Helper rank is not a part of the Staff team. Helpers help new players and whoever is in need of help regarding the server. If you are a helper, it does not necessarily mean you're going to be a moderator, thus it's not under moderator and not a part of the staff team.
Correcting my last reply.. helpers are apart of the staff team, you were correct, but still does not necessarily mean they're going to be moderators. Moderator waves still exist. Why it is not done recently, that's out of my knowledge :lol:I know. Do helpers apply to become moderatos though? Because I haven't seen any moderator applications yet there are new moderators. It would be unny if we keep saying helpers are just helpers because they aren't. The position is being used as another step in the ladder of the staff team, and that is wrong, but voicing my opinion in a post about new helpers isn't gonna help the cause either so I'm just gonna slowly watch it burn :)

Not every helper is chosen to be a moderator (There are many past examples). Also if you are selected, and do not wish to be a moderator, you can simply turn down the offer and retain your position as a helper.
Also about your "necessarily" point, we all know moderators aren't going to necessarily become admins, but they eventually do. So do helpers.
haha
haha
I am actually glad and happy that the helper position is the way to become a moderator. Joining the staff is about helping others, and with the helper rank you learn to do exactly that. You have the staff team guide you and explain to you whatever is unclear, and if the HQ feels like the helper has learned and advanced and is ready to be given such rights, then good. I'd rather see people undergo a certain program then simply be given moderator rights and it has worked very well until now. Survival of the fittest.
