Title: [IV:MP] Unable to start - Black screen

Hello,

I started my game today , My job forced me to change my 800X600 Resolution to a higher one because of the Chat size so I am able to Read it.

I changed the Resolution and After a while did /q .
I went back to get back to the server , Bam , Black screen never the launcher starts .

I tried to launch SP and change settings from there , Only Rockstar South and Rockstar north and license and such a things appeared...Then BAM , Black screen never launches.

I tried the Command line and did put -Windowed in it , It starts windowed but nothing happens.
My game is not Modified except the Advanced map which I never had problems with and the LC Customs mod that Also I never had problems with.
No Guns mods , Nothing except the Advanced map that shows Streets names and such a things and LC Customs.

Note :Its a hell no , I won't reinstall the game again...Last time it took me 6.5 Hours to Install it from a CD into 2 Laptops , Thanks in Advance

Hmm, weird..

Have you tried changing back to 800x600?
Try removing the commandline, Launch the game (SP then MP) and see what happens.

Also try uninstalling those mods.

so u sad that was all good when u played at low resolution?

Then i suggest u to force it with the commandlines.

Run LaunchIVMP as an administrator
also
>Right click Launch IVMP
>Properties
>check run as admin and the DPI scaling thing(I forgot the name  :uhm:)

Thanks everybody for help , The problem is solved , This may get locked (Not removed) Because other Players may face it .

As for the Command lines @Semirak  , I am sure I will try them , But last time I mess up alot with my game , I got forced to wait the progress of 6.5 Hours until I reinstalled my game because my CD Driver was and still Broken.

Did you fix it with the method posted by afmatt or what?
Commandline doesn't really break your game folders, it's just a text file that you can remove anytime, other mods that change game files can actually fuck it up  :D

I just opened the game and it started.... :lol: :D

I will try command line then , As long it will not get rekt again, Maybe it helps , But not all commands should be together....

Anyway , I am playing with the lowest of the lowest xDD

True, that's why i suggest to check the commandline wiki on gtaforums and do some researches on google if you are not sure.
