Totally Supported , Or Even a Smaller Command Expresses that Backup is needed.

For Example :

/Backup N = N.o.o.s.e Backup is needed
/Backup U = LCPD Units are Needed

The FBI are only requested on things Undercover , So you Definitely not going to need a Spam command for FBI , you got time to say it on /r .

This idea would be handy in T4 as we get better stability and a better max player limit which can lead to more players overall and perhaps lots of cops online as well.
As of now, on T3, it may be handy but meh. It is not such a big deal to announce your callsign each time as the radio isn`t very chaotic usually.

Supported.

It was said the T4 and/or other clients to switch to , will come ,for couple of years now. Other developers failed to create a crashless GTA 4 multiplayer client or im not aware of one.

Back on topic, the idea is great. Supported

Sounds to me like you are having trouble to drive and type at the same time D:

Ah..
Such a shame.
If there is only a way...
Where you could somehow work it out together...
To have information going around effortlessly...

Hmm...

Damn.
Can't think of anything  :neutral2:

Too bad people can't always find a partner who would sit in one of the passenger seats and handle the radio.
I totally support this idea, especially when an intense negotiation situation might be going on.

It will help very much. After playing SAMP I found this feature to be quite interesting and easy to use. If used properly then this would help so much in rps and cop stuff also

How would it improve police roleplay according to your words?

Try playing samp. Callsigns are used to tell about the vehicle the person is using. For lcpd this will prove to be a major helper. Ima not explain full.

That was not the answer I asked for.

My question was how this idea would improve police roleplay according to your words.

In other words, how is it going to help the player enter the role of a police officer better?

A normal police radio may remind officers that they are in a roleplay server and that they have to act like one. Same with civilians seeing the police radio seeing that it's professional may improve the general image about professionalism.

That could be possible, but I do not see any improvement from the police side with callsigns except that communication gets improved in that case.

Now, can we have the saving callsign option in T4? It will be helpful and since LCPD has new procedures, it will help aswell in the future.

I would have opened a new topic but if we have one, why not use that?

Looks pretty useless to me. Better start organizing more to get pairs of officers to patrol together than to go to automatic "unit, location, vehicle"   ...   ", over" spam over the radio

What this suggestion is aiming at is to be more efficient in chases... and what chases are most of the time is just a fun-time period with almost no roleplay at all

If you want to roleplay, hook up units to discord chat or write it all down in-game. No need for scripts to help you in that

Voice Coms ;) aka discord/teamspeak *winkwink*
About this idea, i think its fine for whats meant to be used for, but like its only one more thing admins need to "keep an eye on". So it solves a small problem but causes more problems. More commands for a new player to learn and more commands to remember  :balance:

I honestly, think its more that Leo's should start working together more and using discord to communicate, then just complaining and adding more cmd's to give radio info
