Title: Robert's overhaul ENB problem (d3d9.dll)
Post by: Kimya. on November 01, 2017, 01:36:29 am
Hello,

I've just installed Robert's overhaul finale pack, It's working fine, everything is okay except the ENB, i have to delete the "d3d9.dll" file to start the game, either single player or SAMP.

I do really need to have that ENB.

Would appreciate any help from you guys regarding that issue.

Thanks.

What kind of problems are you experiencing? Black screen? Can you post your specs?

When d3d9.dll file is inside GTA SA folder, i click on gta_sa.exe to open the game but the mouse cursor loads for a few seconds then nothing.

Then i delete that d3d9.dll file and the game works fine afterwards.

Maybe, Your PC might not be able to stand it, I use this ENB with nice specs but bad FPS due to which I got banned for lag cs.
P.S delete Gta sa set from docs and try to play game

Try to get dxd9 from other source, most of the times they are outdated and corrupt, resulting in failing to launch. If that doesn't work for you as well try re-configuring the ENB settings in config file, lowering it etc.

Try updating your graphics driver, Have you installed DirectX 9.0?

Quick update of you, Windows 10 does not support high enb, that’s why I downgraded it to 7, better do that if you want ENB.
edit: Go to the windows 8/8.1+ fix folder in the file and put it in your directory, If its a bat file then open the bat file then SA:MP

I've got the same problem but with GTA IV, once I upgraded to windows 10, ENB no longer functional, It works only when I delete the d3d9 file, but whole graphics get fucked up.

Try this, Go in ModLoader and make a new folder "enbseries" inside modloader, then copy enb files into modloader folder except for d3d9 and d3d2, @Kimya.

Doesnt really matter since he needs to have some files in the GTA SA Directory and then there is no need to put it in Modloader

Its basically the same thing as having it in the GTA SA Directory except it has to go through the loadingprocess of the Modloader aswell.

ENBs are notorious for working shitty in Windows 10 for some, like for me I had to use the W8/8.1 fix to get it to work but for other people it just works straight off.
