the VCMP now give us the opportunity to add gui's and make it user-friendly interface, especially for newbies
we can add a speed-o-meter which shows real-time speed, with real-time I mean it updates every millisecond
the speeed-o-meter should also show car health next to it making player avoid using /carhp command while driving

Our approach right now is to keep the play view as clean as possible with minimal GUI. Speed-o-meter seems to be really unnecessary since we don't even have a speed limit or a fuel system.
If you have come across a speedometer on other servers, you would also know that VCMP's speed is very inaccurate. Any effort into this would lead to a inaccurate gauge, which no-one uses and eats up space on your screen.

This could be done for those enthusiastic about watching their own speed for whatever reason as long as the system is toggleable and that the server would remember if you want it off or on.
Even then, this script would be the lowest of priorities as of right now.

Incredibly unnecessary IMHO.
