So, I have recently discovered a dark dark truth.. The year is now 2018, and was thinking how I started my SA:MP adventure in 2008 originally.. And how my MTA:VC adventure was already a couple years old at that point. Meaning, I have been a part of Argonath for around 12 years now. (I did not register a forum account until I needed one a good while after I originally stumbled across the MTA VC server.) Anyhow, I am 24, so this means I am nearing that point, where Argonath RPG has been part of my life for half a year.. I have never wanted to hang myself from a tree this badly. :|

Hello Jesse! We had great gaming moments in the past... You might not remember, but I do... When you joined TeaM back in 2008.. I remember your reaction... you fell out of your chair.. or something like that lol... I also remember your MANUAL transmission Blade (Chevy Impala) on SA-MP.
Don't think about these things... I guess many of us old timers that are still around (now and then) wonder about the years that went by... Every step of our lives have the good and the bad... but I would rather be reminded of the good memories.

I dont understand why some people mourn the loss of MTA:VC, the client was abandoned, the server was dead. VC:MP is there for everyone who wants a good alternative to the days of MTA:VC. It has better client, great synchronisation and features. Stop holding onto the past.

All you said is true, but yeah... I guess you just can't change some people's perspective based on technical facts when they're thinking with emotions :P I loved the game and the community, many of us did.

Well, I for example stopped playing about two years ago, and i jump on to the forums from time to time.
I left pretty much when RS5 came out, the lost cash actually gave me the oppurtunity to leave after about 8 years on/off (started playing at 2008) as nothing no longer held me to the game, yeah i mean sure you have your clan or family or w/e but it was a complete and nice reset, an open oppurtunity, and i took it.
If i would have not taken it, i doubt i would of left even till this day.

10-11 years here, and that tree part.. is understood pretty well :war: :)

Indeed, if you haven't taken the decision to quit earlier and after twelve years you are still playing it is understandable that you want to hang yourself from a tree. :gand:
