Repairing a car costs money, then why respawning a car does not?I think it is an issue that we should tackle.
From my point of view,we can make it more plausible by changing that, collecting some fee which is a bit more expensive than fixing a car from the car respawn, just like charging some madic bills for a person to revive. And if it comes true, the other aspects of RP will be benifited a lot, too.First of all, owners of the cars will drive more carefully due to the respawn fee and it may occur to have an evident reduction of traffic rules breaking.Secondly, almost all players would lock their cars in case that others drive them wandering in the city till the car ultimately destroyed. That will on the other hand be profitable for the taxi business as well because most of the cars have already been locked by their owners, indicating that some players will need a pick-up while being outside if they are not near to their own cars or even don't own ones for themselves. In a word,it may change the phonomena that taxi business seems like nothing but a useless content.(no player will do that job because no passenger,no income.).Thirdly,it makes chasing a criminal much easier for police. When the criminals are evading on their own cars, yes that's their own cars,no problem. But it will be a real trouble if the cars crash. They'll have to be on foot but not like just go on driving another vehicle to evade. But lastly, what if some players keep destroying the cars of others' for revenge or for fun?As I said,it works same as killing a person.Damaging other's car for no apt reason can be considered as rulebreak, too and admins can ban the player for this.As for the car smuggle,it can also be treated as car respawn whereby the owners have to pay for the respawn if their own cars were smuggled.
Maybe it is now difficult for administrators to change anything in the server but I still think it a very good idea.I hope my advice can be considered and executed. :jackson:

Cause you can't repair a blown up vehicle. You might as well just buy a new car at that point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
First of all, owners of the cars will drive more carefully due to the respawn fee and it may occur to have an evident reduction of traffic rules breaking
I doubt it. I mean, we implemented medic bills and players are still dying so it clearly doesn't matter. Plus, the point of such a penalty fee was to never discourage players from doing what it was penalizing but to, as its name suggest, penalize players.
.Secondly, almost all players would lock their cars in case that others drive them wandering in the city till the car ultimately destroyed
90% of the players probably already locks their car. Locked cars are only locked if the owner of the vehicle are online. This is to prevent players from locking their vehicles and going afk for 10 years. Other than the usual "Where is my car?", which is a separate issue to this and one that I myself have brought up at some point to the development team, I have not heard much complains, nor do I have one myself, regarding the locking mechanism.
That will on the other hand be profitable for the taxi business as well because most of the cars have already been locked by their owners, indicating that some players will need a pick-up while being outside if they are not near to their own cars or even don't own ones for themselves
If everyone is the taxi driver, then who is the passenger? On a map as small as Vice City, the taxi job would always suffer. It takes like what, two to three minutes to drive from one end of the map to the other? Getting a taxi for the most part of it would make it completely inconvenient.
In a word,it may change the phonomena that taxi business seems like nothing but a useless content
Taxi has, and will always be, a "useless" script because, again, of the size of the Vice City map. It is just too small for such a job to have a real effect. It is not impossible to drive from one end of the map to another in a server full of players without damaging your car too much or at all.
.Thirdly,it makes chasing a criminal much easier for police. .... But it will be a real trouble if the cars crash. They'll have to be on foot but not like just go on driving another vehicle to evade
Have you seen a grand theft irl? There are videos on YouTube. Go watch it. This is also particularly ironic considering the name of the game

Lol bills for respawn vehicle why tf , you just need to blow up yo vehicle or repair it from any Pay’n’Spray but not bills for respawn vehicle already admins have cmd for respawn da vehicles so why ? Think about it nigga again .. respect your idea put not good bro
-
>goes afk for 1 month
>comes back owes 1000k for car fixes
-
Fuzzie summed it up pretty good.
This sort of idea will not be implemented.
-
Simple, disagree.
-
A consequence for a car respawn does need to be introduced however. This guys does sort of have a point.
Make cars to respawn longer instead of instantly perhaps.

Did you really think this through?
What do you think happens to cop cars if car respawn takes longer?

KL, I respect the idea but honestly it wouldn't work in practice and would not at all benefit the server.
About Taxis. Trying to encourage players to use a Taxi is extremely difficult, and in the end it's not really up to the script but more so the driver. The Taxi job will never make much money, but it can be one of the most enjoyable jobs to roleplay. Examples are endless, from being taken hostage (Collateral, anyone?) or picking up new players at the Aiport offering them a ride into town. Try driving around, throw a few advertisements. You might be surprised to find some players will choose to use your Taxi, not because they're too lazy to walk 10 seconds to the closest vehicle, but in search for some roleplay and interaction. Just don't expect to make a lot of money from Taxi job.

Na the government is robbing us, they're putting it in their pockets :D
