I. Brief Summary
II. Huey-Lincoln Pershing
III. Leslie Pershing
IV. Hynek-Lydell Pershing

I. Brief Summary

One generation of the Pershing Family represented a mash-up between a family of Scots and of Floridians. The head of the family, Huey-Lincoln Pershing, met his future wife, Leslie Murray, during a resupply of the British Navy in Florida in 1938. In early 1939, the two hosted their wedding aboard a Leander-class cruiser, HMS Neptune. The couple settled in Glasgow, Scotland, after which Huey was drafted into the British Army as part of the Second World War. After being wounded in action during the Battle of Carentan in June 1944, Huey was relieved of duties and was able to reunite with his wife, who then became pregnant in August. On May 9th, 1945, Leslie gave birth to Hynek-Lydell Pershing, her only son. Hynek was part of two contrasting groups, first as a felon, and then as a law enforcer.

Name: Huey-Lincoln
Nationality: Scottish (https://i.imgur.com/j7Wf6iO.png)
Gender: Male
Age: 36 at death
Born: November 11th, 1918, Glasgow, Scotland
Died: May 9th, 1955 ( heart attack ), Glasgow, Scotland
Spouse: Leslie Murray
Affiliations: British 1st Royal Tank Regiment
                    The Royal Navy
                    Crew of HMS Neptune
                    The Murray Family

Huey-Lincoln Pershing was born on November 11th, 1918, on the day of the Compiègne Armistice, which marked the end of the Great War. Little is known about his early childhood, except that he had multiple disciplinary issues during his time in school. It is said that he managed to beat up three boys in the school yard by himself, after an unfortunate confrontation. His parents died before he even turned eighteen. Huey briefly joined the Royal Navy in 1936. He enrolled as an engineer aboard the HMS Neptune, a Leander-class light cruiser which was initially commissioned in 1934.

In 1938, the Neptune stopped in Florida to resupply. In Vice City, Huey became acquainted with Leslie Murray, who then became his love interest. After multiple dates and trips throughout Florida, Huey then met Leslie's parents, who did not object to Leslie marrying Huey. On February 14th, 1939, the two married aboard the Neptune, with approval from the ship's captain. The HMS Neptune returned to Portsmouth around June, after which the freshly-married couple moved to Glasgow in order to settle.

On September 1st, 1939, Poland was invaded by Germany, marking the beginning of the Second World War. Huey was then drafted into the army and deployed on the western front. He had taken part in the Battle of Dunkirk and successfully managed to evacuate with the Allied Forces.

Huey was then reassigned to the British 1st Royal Tank Regiment, considering his past career as a ship engineer. He was the driver of a Valentine tank during the Second Battle of El Alamein in 1942 and the loader of a Cromwell tank during Operation Neptune ( D-Day ) in 1944.

Huey's most traumatic experience took place a few days after the day of the Normandy Landings. On June 9th, 1944, the Cromwell crew grouped with the American 101st Airborne Division in order to take the city of Carentan, France. On June 13th, the tank was unexpectedly caught under heavy fire from the Wehrmacht. The Cromwell was immobilized after a StuG III crippled the tank's right track. The crew's driver attempted to fend off the incoming assault for as long as possible in order to allow the rest of the crew to reach safety. When Huey looked behind, the Cromwell suddenly exploded, with the driver dying in a blaze of glory. Huey was then suddenly shot in the left leg by an MG42. Fortunately, his crewmate helped him get to safety, living to tell the tale to his son later on.

Huey was relieved of duties after Carentan due to his injury becoming worse and reunited with Leslie in Glasgow not long after. In August, he left Leslie pregnant with their only child, Hynek-Lydell Pershing.

After the Second World War, Huey worked as an engineer at a local car factory, thus ensuring the family's source of income. On May 9th, 1955, exactly ten years after the end of the Second World War in Europe, Huey died from a sudden heart attack.

III. Leslie Pershing

(https://i.imgur.com/JbYIvLH.png)       Surname: Pershing
Maiden Name: Murray
Name: Leslie
Nationality: American (https://i.imgur.com/1432YRb.png)
Gender: Female
Age: 35 at death
Born: September 11th, 1920, Vice City, USA
Died: December 6th, 1955 ( traffic accident ), Glasgow, Scotland
Spouse: Huey-Lincoln Pershing
Affiliations: Crew of HMS Neptune
                    The Pershing Family

Leslie Pershing ( born Murray ) was born on September 11th, 1920 to a family of tailors from Vice City. Due to the poor nature of her family, she did not receive any form of state education until she was twelve. Leslie learned basic tailoring skills from her mother. She then acquired a taste for literature, particularly the work of famous Renaissance representatives. Leslie's dream was to become a representative writer for the State of Florida -- a dream which never came true.

In 1938, Leslie attended the arrival of a Royal Navy fleet in Florida, among which was the HMS Neptune. This is when she met Huey-Lincoln Pershing, a love at first sight. Strolling around the public areas of Vice Point and Ocean Beach, the two had forged a strong, unbreakable bond. She married Huey aboard the Neptune on February 14th, 1939.

After settling in Glasgow, Leslie was left alone to take care of the family's home after Huey was drafted into the army. She received numerous letters from Huey while he was in North Africa. Worried about her husband's life, Leslie was shocked after hearing about Huey being wounded in Carentan and did her best to give him a warm welcome when he had returned. In August 1944, they conceived their only child, who was born later in May 1945.

Leslie worked as a housewife after the Second World War, doing her best to provide the necessary environment for Hynek to grow and learn. The death of her husband in May 1955 completely destroyed Leslie's psyche. She suffered from serious depression and lost her life in a traffic accident on December 6th, 1955.

IV. Hynek-Lydell Pershing

(https://i.imgur.com/i9hVgnM.png)       Surname: Pershing
Name: Hynek-Lydell
Nationality: Scottish (https://i.imgur.com/j7Wf6iO.png)
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Born: May 9th, 1945, Glasgow, Scotland
Died: N/A
Spouse: Britney Stirling
Affiliations: Downtown Cougars
                    Vice City Police Department
                    The Federal Bureau of Investigation
                    The Murray Family
                    The Stirling Family

Hynek-Lydell Pershing was born to Huey-Lincoln Pershing and Leslie Pershing on May 9th, 1945. Coincidentally, his date of birth was also the date marking the end of the Second World War in Europe, similar to Huey's date of birth, which marked the end of the First World War. As a youngster, Hynek received love from his parents and a strict education. Hynek was amazed by his father's war stories, who then dedicated most of his time to the family. Unfortunately, he lost both of his parents at the age of ten.

Hynek was then taken into care by Leslie's parents, who then lived in Orlando, Florida. He was then enrolled in a local school. His favourite subjects were psychology and literature. Some of his colleagues and teachers considered him a child prodigy, with Hynek becoming a representative figure for Orlando's educational system.

On May 9th, 1963, Hynek turned 18. During a party with his closest colleagues, the pub that was hosting the party was assaulted by a team of four armed robbers. Hynek was held hostage by the robbers and knocked unconscious, after which he woke up in a compound in Downtown Vice City. Surprisingly, Hynek managed to befriend one of the kidnappers. His name was Podorozhny Crezlikov, a former Field Marshall from Ukraine and an immigrant. After persuading Crezlikov to let him out, Hynek befriended the other kidnappers, who were part of a gang called the Downtown Cougars.

In 1965, Hynek joined the US Army and was drafted into the Vietnam War. It was in the dense Asian jungles where he became acquainted with three of his rifleman squad members: Salvatore Monella, Joseph Becker and Brian Kupchenko. During a Vietcong assault, Monella saved Hynek's life after he got stuck in a jungle trap. The four would meet once again in Vice City later on.

After the end of the Vietnam War, Hynek reunited with his kidnappers, strengthening the bond between them. Aside from Crezlikov, Hynek became good friends with "Zerox", a car enthusiast, Sockom, an African marksman and Alan Schadow, an entrepreneur from West Germany. Hynek would end up joining the Cougars on their trip across Florida, taking part in various scores in Vice City.

Up until 1980, the gang was at large all over Florida for crimes including, but not limited to: drug trafficking, extortion, robbery, kidnapping and murder. However, during a robbery in Little Havana, the Vice City Police Department managed to arrest half of the crew. Hynek and Crezlikov were pardoned, as there was no evidence pointing at them being involved in the incident. After the failed heist, the two abandoned the criminal life in favour of community work.

Hynek enrolled as a voluntary firefighter and went on a trip to Wales in 1982. In Cardiff, Hynek met Britney Stirling, who worked as a data analyst. Hynek met Britney's parents, who became rather fond of him. The two would end up marrying in Vice City. With their funds, they purchased a villa in Starfish Island. In 1983, Britney gave birth to a boy, George-Jefferson Pershing.

In 1984, Hynek and Crezlikov joined the VCPD Academy, graduating under the guidance of FBI Director Marco White. Crezlikov pursued his interest in becoming a member of the VCPD's SWAT team, after impressing Commander Danny D'Costa in a gunslinging contest. Hynek, however, continued to learn from Director Marco White and eventually got recruited as a Federal Agent, working on multiple field investigations.

Around March, Hynek and Marco unraveled a drug deal with the help of William Curtis and Hynek's former Vietnam squadmate, Joseph Becker. After successfully escaping the country, Curtis was recruited as an Agent and Becker became an Officer. Later on, his other Vietnam mates, Monella and Kupchenko, would follow suit and join the VCPD.

As part of the FBI, Hynek focused on fighting against the traffic of illegal cargo in Vice City. With the help of the SWAT, numerous smuggling voyages were put to an end through the usage of marksman encampments and blitz tactics, which appeared to be rather effective at that time.

During summer, Director Marco White stepped down from his position, with Hynek becoming the new Director of the FBI. After numerous trips to Washington, Hynek organized some of the very first search warrants within Vice City. One of the most infamous raids took place in a warehouse from Vice Port, associated with a gang of Indians known as the Punjabi Mafia, who hosted an enormous cache of contraband Vietnam-era LMGs, Grenades and Bulldog Shotguns.

Hynek, however, did not enjoy his job, and stepped down from his position a few months later. He was transferred back to the VCPD under the rank of Captain and oversaw the Academy in its entirety, with some Cadets appreciating his way of teaching. At that time, Salvatore Monella was the Chief of Police, with Joseph Becker as Captain and SWAT Commander. One Cadet in particular, Steven Collingwood, admired Hynek and saw him as a role model. The Cadet would end up in Hynek's position later on.

Hynek later became the Deputy Chief of the VCPD, overseeing the Department during Monella's trips to San Andreas. Hynek would later meet Kim Purp Lee, the next FBI Director and one of the most proficient investigators on the field. His sister, Kimberly Purp Lee, would become a close friend, after discovering Hynek's orange 1983 Pfister Comet Cabriolet with its engine crippled and the windshields broken. Kimberly restored the Comet to mint condition with her crew and she would end up starting her own garage near Sunshine Autos in Little Havana.

After the departure of Chief Monella, Gabriel Adams was instated as the new Chief of Police. The Academy would flourish under his lead, with Hynek doing what he always did -- oversee and give advice. Steven Collingwood would then become the new Captain, following in Hynek's steps.

In January 1986, during a police ceremony in which Hynek intended to retire, Kim Purp Lee was assassinated by a man only known by the name of "Straccione". Kimberly arrived for the ceremony moments after the ambulance left with Kim, in a comatose and with little to no chance of survival. When the ceremony ended, Pershing approached Kimberly, who soon bursted into tears and anger. The assassin's body was later found incinerated in a scum shack from Downtown.

A few weeks after the ceremony, Kimberly was found dead after drowning, a shock for Hynek, seeing how close Hynek and Kimberly were as friends. He later moved with his family to Liberty City, away from Vice City's reign of crime.

Well it's certainly not a novel, more like a biography. But if you want me to write a novel... I might try at some point!
