The title of the subject says it all, but for the sake of elaboration, well.
I have no idea if this has been suggested before, but I feel that the owner of a property should be given the rights to move his/her stuff around. Or better yet, Furniture Shops could be added where players can buy their furniture and place/edit their interiors.
I realize that some of you might say that this might be abused and players will buy huge amounts of furniture and just overcrowd their interior.
To avoid this, an interior can be given a maximum of 10 props or lesser to smaller interiors. I know that this overall might not make a huge difference to the game. But it does add some fun to roleplay.
Suggestion 2
I've been playing Argonath for a long time now, the thing that pisses me off the most is the weapons being replaced whenever you pick a pack, as in, you're holding a chainsaw, you pick a random cop-pack. The chainsaw gets replaced with a nightstick.
I know most of you'll say to see the content of the pack before picking it, and I know that it's the right move. But sometimes, when I'm buying stuff from ammunations, I generally buy a lot of M4's, a slip, my 7000 M4 is going to get replaced by 500 AK-47.
I know almost all of you have been in this type of situation before, so my suggestion is that, either the weapons that get replaced are automatically added to your pack, or, the weapons that get replaced are dropped back into the pack that you had picked(like in PUBG)
What do you think?

IMHO useless, we dont need it, waste of time, you want interior go map them and beg admins to add it or use the ones there are.

For now, if you want to make an interior you can do so yourself and give it to Klaus for testing to see if it fits the style we want to go for.
Your second suggestion will not happen. Picking packs is meant to have a disadvantage so you can't just mindlessly keep picking packs.
We will not give any more advantages for pack pickers. Use /addpack to add weapons to the pack you do not want to be gone and simply don't pick weapons you don't want to use or store.
If you buy 7000 M4 ammo and then you fuck it up by buying AK, it's on you. The script doesn't do it for you, there is no possibility for missclicking since it is not mouse operated. You trying to be as fast as possible can only be blamed on you, not the script.
-
Well said Kessu, agree with everything you said.
-
The /addpack command was made for a reason.
-
Well what can I say: the furniture feauture isn't impossible to add as developpers of San andreas started making scripts about it but it was scrapped in early developpement. so it is possible to add it in vice city.
It is simple, it would be like the map editor that would allow you to move objects around your house so +1
I agree with the second suggestion as well so +1 :jackson:

We could make the first suggestion happens, but it is not necessarily something we wish to be adding over other priority scripts.
The script to map in-game alone is massive undertaking, usually only involved in servers specifically made for mapping. Having this in a roleplay server would likely only fuck shit up more :(

You get what you deserve if you steal evidence

Indeed, I deserved those 20 explosives yesterday :bananarock:

+1 to customising interiors, but it would be complicated to make it decent.
something like 2d polygons added manually for each property interior, which define where the object can be added, possibly with object sizes hard coded for accuracy.

if you will add the first suggestion make a limit.
Also there's a possibility of bugs appearing.

Quoting myself and on top of that;
If you want to have a custom interior, nothing stops you from mapping one and then poking Klaus about him checking it, to see if it lives up to the quality we want our mapping work to be.
EDIT: This interior would not be limited to your house only and it will not give you a mapper rank :D

Most of the people don't really care for furniture in argonath rpg vcmp as people always go to their houses either to camp like a noob or take/store items or check storage or take out some clothing an other prop commands, I don't see vice city getting more interesting with furniture
honestly my thoughts

Not A Bad Idea.
7/10! :uhm:
