We're planning to work on some new themening for the main forums, what would you like to see added in this new theme.
If you'd like us to use a theme as a base, please put a link to the theme on this topic.

That'd be too limited to limited to one server, we could how ever add a list of important direct links, to like, government sections, Sales sections, group section, etc.

Well, I don't know. Mostly neutral about the theme. To be frank, the ARPD's theme update is probably the best example of it being done right - not too in your face, not much gets radically changed, but you still feel a breeze of fresh air. Here on the other hand, the change is rather radical and confusing at first.
My real complaint is that the VC:MP logo on the main banner is like, pretty much not visible at all, all I can make out is the hairline of whom I assume to be Lance Vance. Seeing how VC:MP has been the most active Argonath community for a good while, I don't think it's fair to leave us out man. SA:MP hasn't been the main Argo server for a looong looong time.

When you zoom out of the page, VC:MP banner is visible. The banner is just too long to fit all the Argonath divisions, but yeah. It's really unfair for VC:MP. They should re-design it, maybe crop some out of the division pictures.

I'm not 100% sure, but when you have proper monitor that is wide enough - you see all of them. Older monitors show less obviously.

Something I noticed, when you click on the forum navigation bar, you have to click the text. Would it be possible so you can just click on the button, not just the text? I have clicked it many times not exactly on the text and going no where.

I actually did not notice this, or just got lucky by clicking on the text, but - same for me ye. Actual 'button' is just the text.

Every change is weird. You'll get used to it eventually. If not; switch back to the old theme.

Why again with the positioning? If someone would've payed attention you can see it is in order of release date. VC -> SA -> IV -> V

Ok I understand what you mean and it's good. But I think a plugin that matches ferocia or smth would be good.
We can use the gamestate one, but it would not match this theme. Yes gamestate provides a plug in to see players playing a game

Hmmmm it looks like a new theme to me..?
Aren't you a bright one..? The point was this is a topic about a new theme and then we just got a new theme without an announcement so I'll use this topic to give ideas about the new theme. Unless I missed that topic, then my bad.
I'm not shitting on the new theme or anything, I really like its vibe and the more modern look it has. But the signatures (they way they look with that grey background color) are questionable, the light blue color is meh, I like the way the quote button looks but there are two types of blues and it's kind of confusing. Also in the replies, perhaps this isn't a problem to everyone, but I really like having the title of the post on the reply. Because when you have 7 tabs of the forum open then you have no idea what topic you're at. Are those Next and Previous buttons needed? I really like the banner, navigation panel and the nav_section thing with the arrows > > > :)
And the search man, the google search, seriously?
Also, I'll clarify, if you're offended by this you need to take a break from the internet, seriously. It's only my personal opinion, it's not facts and it's not pointless complaints, I've already changed to the old theme, but I believe some of these things just don't match with each other, and if we want to attract new players we might at least look like a functioning 2019 community. It could be because we have a very outdated and hacked HTML code and these things can't be fixed, but a little effort would be appreciated.

Funny you mention that. If I remember correctly, I remade the entire forum from scratch to solve the problem and offered it to the administration team so they could import all of the data back in and have everything fixed. No one wanted it. There's also been numerous others that have offered their help with actual, viable solutions. Instead, everyone with rights on here has just been removing anyone that speaks out against them and granting themselves more power in Gandalf's absence. That's okay, though. You can keep thinking what you want. The forum is still broken and no one here is going to ever fix it. :)

1) ARFD has been neglected for years. The fact that you were allowed to stay in charge for so long actually represents "how great things once were in the server".
2) Liberty Unleashed both server and client, whatever happened to those??
3) Hey, I heard there was supposed to be a new MTA VC client coming up. How is that coming together??
However, the most outrageous FACT of all is that you dare to come here after years of inactivity and absence (not to say that the years you were active have shown any productivity other than shit talk from you anyway) and assault people who actually did something to help the community, who actually put real effort into keeping it on life support when it's demise seemed inevitable. People with actual leading capabilities took over, people who see progress, people who understand that some vision written ten years ago can only hold up for so long. For the first time in the history of Argonath, not only the possibility of a GTA V server became a reality, but the server itself has actually been opened for testing. All of that in a matter of few weeks! The SAMP branch are finally moving on to a new game mode, IVMP people developed their own client pretty much specifically for Argonath and VCMP is seeing some of its most active days (shall I also mentioned that the server management are paying for the host themselves?).
Now coming back to you. You, whose name has become a laughing stock and the antithesis of progress and productivity, dare to come here as some sort of hero and shit on the effort of those people? You, whose entire being here on Argonath can be summarised as talking shit with having zero idea on the matter? It's quite rich from you to even demand facts, don't you think?
So please, pardon me for not welcoming you with open arms. Go back to thinking you are actually important and represent the times when the "community was once great". Sorry to burst your bubble, but you and everything you stand for represent the exact opposite.

Can you search bro? Oh, you can't? Wanna know why? Because every time someone searched something the forum crashed, so we removed search and added google search as a temporary fix. By this logic, if you burn your hand you might wanna cut off your arm because now you no longer have a burned hand!? It's not fixed. It's not usable even, because we couldn't fix it. What the problem really is I have no idea, it's not my responsibility to know either.
